I tend to search DeviantArt by just putting 'fandom/ship/whatever wallpaper' in the search bar and see what comes up. That's what's been working for me lately unless I stumble across something on LJ.

it depends on the fandom. if you're looking for ones for OUAT, I think I remember seeing some on fanpop. other than that, I'm not sure. You could try googling for wallpapers instead, that usually works!
