My reaction to OUAT 1x18:

Oh my god, my bb Regina.
On sweetheart. Everything was so deliciously perfect. Just... I mean, Regina's mother alone explains everything about Regina's world view now. It was brutal watching the inescapable conclusion come ever closer.
Daniel was so delicious - when he kind of kissed her thumb when she proposed (fuck yes, Regina, rides like a man, proposes to hot stable boy) I just about died.
I JUST HAVE ALL THESE FEELINGS.
I am thrilled that Regina's hatred of Snow White was totally rooted in their history and nothing at all of vanity - and oh my god, how great was that scene when Mary Margaret was crying in prison and Regina smiled and wiped away her tears? God, Regina was so fucking attractive doing that. I REGRET NOTHING.
(And need all the icons from this episode ever right now, uploaded.)
Please tell me that Regina kills her mother, because that would a.) be awesome and b.) I love the idea that she killed both the mother she hated and the father she loved.
Then, as the cherry on the cake of this glorious episode, Katheryn is back and alive. HELL TO THE YES, FOLKS, HELL TO THE YES. LET'S GET FREDRICK BACK IN HERE FOR MAKE-OUTS, STAT.
The only thing I didn't like was not!Graham. I've heard some speculation that August might be Rumpelstiltskin's son, which I would kind of hate, because I feel like I'd like to like Rumpelstiltskin's son as an adult.

REGINA I LOVE YOU.

YESSSSSSSS. I want that next chapter in the story. Because here, Cora and Henry are all set to move into Leopold's castle with Regina (ye gods, the family drama) and this is the earliest we've seen of Regina, we haven't seen her mother again. I think the next time in her life we see her is when Snow is 16 and Regina kills Leopold... where I think we can assume her father is stuck in Wonderland and now Cora is out of the picture and Regina has powers. I do suspect Regina killed her mother and took her magic, somehow.
KATHRYN IS ALIIIIIIVE. :DDDDD And isn't Mary Margaret's murder trial about to go down? Emma's going to march Kathryn right in there and blow the whole thing out of the water and it will be glorious.
I've heard the August=Bae speculation too, and the thing is, Rumpelstiltskin was around for a LONG time. I think that, unless Bae found his way into a slower-time world, Bae has long died of old age and is thus not in Storybrooke. I think, based on all the "I don't lie" statements August has made, that it's more likely he's Pinocchio. That and his shin splints.
God, I have so much to say about Gold in this episode too. But that is going to be in my own post.

Same here.

Agreed, and I DESPERATELY want to see how that plays out.

. . . er, one thing standing in the way of makeouts is that Katherine's still missing her heart. Get someone who can figure out how to stick it back in and THEN makeouts.
My theory on August is that he's the Narrator.

I love that Regina is basically ready to burn the world down because she felt cheated out of something she could never replace. There's this moment where you can see her snapping. She's spent the entire episode bending further and further, and it reaches this point where she just breaks. It kind of looks like she acquiesces to her mother; but I'm hoping that was just her planning revenge on everyone. Snow. The King. Her mother. Other people's happiness. It's not entirely rational, but that's part of why she's so interesting to me. She's angry and she'll just keep tearing things down to fill that gap.
Am I the only one who noticed her kissing Daniel after his heart was ripped out? But true love couldn't fix this one.
Another thing that really hurt was, at the end of the episode, when she says, "We got her, Daniel" into the engagement ring he gave her. She still loves him - even after all that time. She never let go and that is so many degrees of unhealthy and it's delicious.

Yep, there totally is. During that scene with Snow, when she turns away, I was like, 'okay, this is her moment of change.' And what's really tragic about Regina is that she's chasing happiness and continually fails at getting it - and often her actions AREN'T going to lead to her happiness but she doesn't realize it. I'm like, 'go to a beach! Find a new lover! Forget about Snow! Make out with Emma!' But no.
She never let go and that is so many degrees of unhealthy and it's delicious.
Everything about Regina is delicious, imho.
