*dies laughing and then comes back to give this comic a standing ovation* This is too effing perfect. I love how the dad is more concerned about his son's taste in men than the fact that he likes men. Humanity, I'm starting to like you more and more.
As any good parent would be. I personally don't care who my future children go out with as long as their life doesn't go down the tubes in the process.
By the way, why do so many people hate Scott? I have no personal feelings about Scott myself because I'm usually squeeing over Wolverine/Rogue or the other characters, so did I miss something? Apart from the fact that he can be quite useless? The parents make a good point about Jean, if I were her mother I'd be worried about the fact that she always seems to die while Scott is around.
To be honest, I am not entirely sure. I would ask some of the other commentators. I know in the comics he's done some dickheaded things but I'm not clear on the specifics.
I hear the comics due tend to inspire some strong reactions in the readers. I'm not gonna tell you what Dick did in a comic that was recently released because it is rage-inducing.
