Up To Young Justice 2x03

Typically, I don't like spoilers. I don't like knowing what's going to happen in a show. The first part of season two of Young Justice, however, is the first exception. Because THANK FUCKING CHRIST I knew that time-skip was coming.

THANK FUCKING CHRIST that given the

HEART-RENDING WRECK that is the M'gann/Conner relationship at the moment (I'm currently up to episode 2x03, fyi) I know that Wally and Artemis are currently off at college having all the sex. If I didn't know that, I don't know what I'd do.

BUT ON THE SUBJECT OF CONNER/M'GANN... basically, just go read this episode reaction post by disco_vendetta because she gets into all the delicious Conner/M'gann and M'gann and her telepathy stuff that had me on the edge of my seat the last couple episodes.

LOOK AT WHAT THEY MADE YOU GIVE, M'GANN.

WHAT DID YOU DO THAT MADE CONNER THINK LEAVING YOU WAS THE ONLY OPTION?

Also, I hate M'gann's new haircut and love her outfit and in my head, she "cut" her hair because she didn't want to look quite so much like Gar's mother, for Gar's sake, which... Gar is basically the only new person I care about, mainly because he's not new in the way all the other new people who I don't care about are, and I LOVE that M'gann gave him powers with that blood transfusion and she got a large part of her identify from Gar's mother and now Gar is getting a large part of his identity from M'gann. IT'S A HEARTBREAKING CIRCLE.

Also, I don't know what possible reason there could be for Conner to be wearing fingerless gloves but they're totally working for me. Which is reason enough, I guess?

You're lucky. I nearly had a attack when I saw episode one of season 2. I kept asking who are all these people? Where are my babies? What has happened to my OTP? Greg, what are doing to me? Then thankfully, they had a somewhat Conner, M'Gann and Gar centric episode that calmed me down.

I don't hate or love the new characters yet. I've definitely developed a soft spot for Blue Beetle and of course Gar is my favourite of the newbies, but it'll take a while for me to care about the rest of the group the way I care about the original characters.

Totally unrelated comment but I see you've found bentfire's YJ icon stash? I'm kind of bummed out that she never made that YJ theme she was thinking about making because it would have been gorgeous, but understandably real life takes priority over huge fan projects.

Me too. I love her graphics on Tumblr but I really, really miss her LJ icons as well. Hopefully the new season shall inspire her?

Conner remains my one true favorite on YJ. He's just so practical, and temperamental and hot XD
Aqualad was one of my favorites too. Wally/Artemis is awesome and I saw that one coming ever since the Dr. Fate episode. (I'm waiting for the Nightwing/Batgirl to emerge, and maybe, hopefully Wondergirl/Superboy.If not, hey, there's fandom XDD)

I love the cafe meeting between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent and the whole "he needs you Clark" thing ♥ Of course now they're both gone.....

Honestly, if you told me I would love Superman's clone this much, I would have LAUGHED at you. But damn, he's one of my favorite things about this show.
