Item 47 Was...

Okay. Basically exactly what I was expecting - nothing that made me go 'wow' or laugh. I thought the Coulson reference was REALLY awkward and forced. I DO like that it appears that SHIELD gets A FUCKTON of its personnel via unorthodox recruitment strategies.

ETA: Now I want to know about Coulson's misspent youth. Any ideas?

My favorite short is still the one about Coulson's pit stop on the way to Thor, but I did enjoy this short quite a bit. I think mostly because I just love the regular agents of SHIELD? I love the bald guy (though not enough to remember his name when I'm dead tired but whatever). Also, I'm so emotional over Coulson that you could literally shoehorn in the most awkward and forced means of referencing him and I'd still whine out "SON OF COUL" and sob, so I'm a little biased. xD

I really hope we see more of the new girl agent, cause I like the actress and the character seems like she could be wildly entertaining.

I hear that in comics canon, Coulson had this misspent violent-type youth, and he did some secret-agenting in the lots-of-fights-and-assassinatin' way, which I love. So many bureaucrat-to-gritty-hero stories, I like the idea of Coulson as one of those in reverse.

Awesome! That is exactly how I imagined it.
