Emma/Regina - How would they explain their relationship to Henry?
Steve/Darcy - Kinkiest thing they do in bed together?

Natasha comes first for Clint.

I was like, 'they're not that kinky' 'I don't see them playing with either toys or bondage' 'Steve would HATE having sex in public and Darcy would be too conscious of what could happen if someone got a photo'. I was like, 'they just have amazing vanilla sex!' and then I thought, 'but what about X?'
Hmmmm, I went. I need to write that fic.

Since Henry is clearly stupid and/or Storybrooke has terrible sex ex, I think they tell him that they're going to be living together and it's only much, much later that they end up telling him that they're not just roommates.

"Since Henry is clearly stupid" sums up a lot about Once tbqh.
And yeah, I could definitely see them breaking it to him slowly. I also kind of see Emma having such a huge moral quandry about how and when to tell him, that they wait too long and he just ends up walking in on them.

TRUTH.

1. What is a deal breaker for you in terms of shipping? Have you ever stopped shipping a pairing because of the way the writers have handled it?
2. What is the one thing that is guaranteed to get you shipping something?
3. Top 3 femme slash pairings?
no subject
Absolutely. I've stopped shipping a ton of couples because of where the writers took it or what they did. I stopped shipping Damon/Elena and Belle/Rumpelstiltskin (WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE) because in both cases, the men did terrible, terrible things and then avoided the consequences, and also stripped the agency from both their love interests and ladies in general.

Ugh. I hate those kinds of romances. Makes me glad I wasn't too much of a strong Belle/Rumpelstiltskin shipper to begin with because it would be Naruto all over again. I guess Rumple does something really shitty in season 2?
I'm watching Once when it airs on TV during the summer. Is Vampire Diaries a good tv series? I tried to read the first novel but I wasn't biting.

he's done so many shitty things over the last two seasons.

No, it's not. It starts promising with some unfortunate implications and then gets awesome and then gets very, very terrible.

LOL, true, though I hoped he'd be getting his act together in season 2 what with Belle's return. Oh well, I watch this show mainly for the ladies anyway. <3

Eww. Thanks for the heads up. That's such a shame because the reason I attempted to read the first book was because so many people praised the author for her attempts at female character development, but if there's unfortunate implications I may just skip this series and watch the Game of Thrones series instead.

I get what you mean when you say 'there's nothing guaranteed to make me ship something' because I've found through my own experiences that if two ships share a certain trope or theme, that doesn't necessarily guarantee that I'll ship them. A couple can be great on paper, but they can be executed poorly by the writers and I find that occurrence so fascinating.

Same here! And I think a key factor is that a lot of stories don't let girls be actually bad. They're always slightly bitchy and then punished for it, while men can be antiheroes all damn day long.

Yes. At the moment, I can only think of three examples of badass evil women who don't fit under that category:
1) The character Meryl Streep plays in "The Devil Wears Prada" - I think her name is Miranda? I'm not sure if she fits under this category because she's not "evil" as much as she is pushy and the movie actually does go out of its way to make the audience understand why she's pushy.
2) Lady Eboshi from Princess Mononoke, although she doesn't reach the end of the movie totally unscathed.
3) Kushana from NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind.

2.) Maddie/Julie (Code Name Verity)
3.) Cara/Kahlan (LotS).

... Or maybe I just need to read some smutty Regina/Emma fanfic/fanart because that's how a particular ship who's name I will not mention got me.

Anyway. Steve/Darcy always makes me think of you, so I thought I'd share the love :)
