With all the friending memes going around (LJ revival for the win!) I figured that a meme would be a nice way to break the ice... and it would be way more fun for me personally than writing up an about-me post (like like this meme is restricted to new members of my flist, or anything crazy like that).
So, without further ado...
Fandom Tennis Match Meme!
Okay, here's how this is going to work. You comment with a fandom question. I answer it and then ask you a question that has some thematic relevance to the question you asked me.
My tags and my icons are good places to get ideas about what fandoms/ships/etc I'm interested in. Also, my bulletproof kinks/tropes tag is here.

who would olive totally fuck that she didn't in the movie (technically, everyone, but you get my point)?

What do you see happening next in Olive's life? Where do you see her in her twenties?

Mr. Griffith, of course!
Most inappropriate ship you ship like BURNING and why is it inappropriate.
Ooops, I forget I already answered this!

Okay, my totally uninspired question is...on OUaT, if you could add any 3 characters who would they be, and on the flip side, what 3 characters currently on the show would you get rid of?

Thank you!

I'd love to see a Snow Queen and The Goose Girl retelling, with the required new characters. As for character's I'd get rid of.... Belle, Hook, and August.
Your top 3 OUAT characters?

More specifically, I want a fantastic red room romance between Natasha and James, with more emphasis on Natasha and her breaking out, and her and Steve's emotions when they realized that James is alive.
In Avengers 2, I want her to continue her Avengers trend of being the most competent badass one the team, and I want her to have a pivotal role at various points in the narrative, like she did in Avengers 1.
Your question: Natasha pairings you enjoy, and why.

Well, Clint/Natasha for OTP because master assassins in love, is like, my favorite thing. SHIP WAS MADE FOR ME. But I also like Natasha/Steve because their brief interactions in the movie, was, you know, brief, but I liked the potential and idea of them. Nat/Bruce BECAUSE IT WOULD BE FASCINATING, given their dynamic in the movie and how that amount to weird friendship by the end of the avengers? Yeah, I am into it. And vaguely Natasha/Pepper because I shipped that a lot when Iron Man 2 came out but less so now after Avengers, but it's still something I enjoy.

It could be really good? We'll see.

SO TRUE. God, I love them both so much.

Personally, I really, really love the thought of them as friends, rather than lovers.

1.) Badass ladies with complex emotional landscapes. Like, I can't stress this enough. It is the ladies on the show who get the most interesting backstories and the most time devoted to revealing those backstories.
2.) The ladies are the deadliest fighters. The hardest hitter on the show is M'gann, the girly-girl (I say that as a descriptor, no value judgment involved) telepath and shapeshifter and telekinetic who likes ridiculous teen shows and is a cheerleader and likes baking and wants life to be like a tv show. (P.S. She also has a lot of fantastically interesting backstory, see #1.)
3.) It's funny.
4.) It has a great structure - episodes that function on there own but still propel the characters and plots forward.
5.) It's just awesome.

Option one: Afterwards, Leonie and Cabal start a sexual relationship, Leonie travels a lot for work and to see her father, but spends about half the year chilling at Cabal's house and writing criminologist papers.
Option two: After a wild and adventurous twenties, Leonie gets a good job assisting the police - basically, she's working as a profiler, and one a case she meets a handsome young gentleman who she marries and who has a steady job and takes care of their two children when she travels about the country profiling grisly murders. Leonie and Cabal weave in and out of each other's lives, depending on the crimes that Leonie is investigating, what foul villainy Cabal is committing this week, etc.
If they made a Johannes Cabal movie, I know who you'd cast as Cabal... who would you cast as Leonie and Horst?

Emma Watson is my go-to cast choice for Leonie, although I think there are any number of talented young actresses that could pull her off nicely. I think in the next few years, we're going to see her mature a lot as an actress. And in my fantasy world, that would time very nicely to Leonie's maturation as a character as well.
And I honestly have no idea who I would cast as Horst. I've seen a couple on Indubitably Johannes Cabal? But I haven't particularly liked any of them. My mind, just this instant, is stuck on Sebastian Stan for some reason.

The guy who played Enjolras in Les Mis (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3117836/?ref_=tt_cl_t8)
Now, I don't know that much about him as an actor, but when I was watching the movie a second time he just has the kind of facial features that I would choose for Horst. So like, that's the kind of face I keep thinking of, even if I can't pin a specific actor.

He would be AMAZING as Horst. And I think he and Emma Watson would just visually contrast really nicely with Hiddleson, especially Hiddleson playing it really, really cold.

I think, if Cassie got to pick a power, she'd choose to be a mover. Watching is a very reactive power and while in the movie, she's the person moving (heh) the story forward and so much of the emotional emphasis of the movie is centered around her, I think that if she had a choice, she'd want the ability to tear things up a bit.
When/how do you think Nick realizes that he's in love ~in love~ with Cassie?

What is one character who you'd like to transplant to a new canon?
no subject
When you say transplant to a new canon you mean a different but already existing show? Or a new canon for the character in their current universe?
no subject
Like, move them to an existing show.

What are some of the characters with the easiest pov for you to write in? The most difficult?

What are some of the characters with the easiest pov for you to write in? The most difficult?
Johannes Cabal is a character that I feel very comfortable with. In that same vein, Loki and Regina as well. Generally, I'm pretty damn confident with villains.
I also would like to say I'm very comfortable with (MCU) Natasha, since I feel like I've found a nice way to balance her cunning and this sense of genuine niceness and care she has, but I hesitate to include her on the list since I've only ever written her in relation to other characters, not on her own yet.
Sif I adore and feel fairly comfortable with, but occasionally I have a hard time pinning down her feelings. Harry Dresden is also in this category - I love writing him, but I have a hard time pinning down his thoughts or dialog from moment to moment. Like, some aspects I feel very confident with, and then there are these gaps in my narrative that it takes me a while to fill.
I have a hard time writing Clint, to be honest. If it was comics Clint? I feel like I'd be a little more comfortable. MCU Clint is kind of a tossup from fic to fic.

I think MCU writers often crib A LOT from comics Clint when they write him. (Mainly, the humor.) That's actually one things that separates my MCU!Clint (much more deadpan, much more aware of the ironies of a situation) and comics!Clint (more of a goofball, weirdly even more self-loathing-y than MCU!Clint) and I have slightly different backstories for them.
