TIE PULLING. TIE PULLING TO KISSES.
That was fabulous and I am now dead.
THAT SAID.
I'm sorry but Darcy would know, if now WHEN he feel in love, when he REALIZED he was in love (pro-tip, it is clearly sometime before he showed up at Collings & Collins and after the most awkward dance ever). This is one of those times wanting to keep the "I was in the middle before I realize I'd begun' line was a mistake. I mean, I think they could have keep it, but the Darcy that they've written would have had a more accurate answer of Lizzie as well as a more emotional one.
Also, that line about Lydia was dumb. Look, Darcy and Lydia are, realistically, unlikely to get alone. THAT'S FINE. Everyone doesn't have to like everyone else for it to be a happy ending. And I almost groaned when I saw Lydia in the preview for the next episode.
I really like Lizzie refusing a job at Pemberely; she needs to pay her dues in the real world and Darcy giving her a department WOULD be the act of a man in love, not a smart CEO. I think that Darcy still doesn't believe that Lizzie is as in love with him and committed to he is to her ( which is kind of deliciously awesome! but means that I think he's going to try to manage everything to make it perfect for Lizzie and that way leads to drama!) and I really want to read the story of their first real fight, which comes about because Darcy is trying to micro-manage Lizzie's life and Lizzie gets so frustrated that she storms out of [where ever they are] and turns off her phone for the evening and Darcy is like 'oh, fuck, we're done, Lizzie is leaving me' and the next day Lizzie shows up at his office at lunch, going 'I can't wait for evening for makeup sex' and Darcy is like, 'we're still dating....?' and Lizzie is like, 'I'M IN LOVE WITH A FUCKING MORON.'
Also, check out the tags on this sucker.
A++, tumblr, A++
Also, does someone have any tips about adding tags to posts? Because I used to be able to (very awkwardly) cut and paste tags I loved into the main body of the post, but now I am having trouble with that. (I use Chrome, if that makes a difference.)

Maybe I read too much into things because I didn't get the vibe of "now we're all friends" so much as a man who, as a polite and smart person, is going to get along with (as in not cause fights with) his girlfriend's family members. I mean, he knows Lydia went through something traumatic and he also knows Lizzie thinks family is important. Makes sense to me. Of course, I have friends with some of the strangest and most redneck in-laws and hearing their trials to get along with people might be influencing this thought...
I would be interested to see Gig and Lydia interact though it would probably be awkward because Gigi at least would know what horrid person they had in common. But if that was out of the equation. They are not exactly super alike but both are "energetic" so it might be entertaining.

I just kind of feel like there isn't a point to mentioning it unless the writers are being sincere about it...?

I love the idea of Gigi and Lydia hanging out together and being friends.
