Due to various service disruptions, I now have a month and a half of paid time AFTER my extra userpics run out.

Speaking of service disruptions, did anyone else lose entries? Because I actually had entries that were deleted - my 5 Acts 2013 Masterlist for one, and there are several others that I can't recall of the top of my head.

Also, fandom etiquette question. WHEN does done stop tagging/cutting for spoilers? Is the time line different for LJ versus tumblr? And yes, I know tumlr is notorious for NOT tagging their spoilers, but I’m trying not to be an asshole about it.

For TV shows? I tag spoilers until the next episode, and then wait a month for the season finales. For books? I always tag for spoilers. Maybe not like, HP? But like, if I was to post about a book I read, I would cut for spoilers even if the book was 10 years old. For movies? Idk. I usually cut for spoilers til it's been out on DVD for a week or so.

I think it's very dependant on what part of fandom you're acting in, though, because if you are writing fic in avengers fandom, I am pretty sure that IM3 is only something you need to tag for like 3 weeks, but only in the that fandom. On LJ, I would still cut for spoilers for the movie because you have no idea if people are as deep into that fandom as you are. BUT THATS JUST ME.

Thanks for the info! And yeah, I used to be SO much more spoiler phobic than I am now. I still hate them, but I've had to accept that for my own sanity, I have to care a little bit less.

I am still a spoiler-phobe, but only when it's things I am super invested it. And that list is NOT long at all at the moment, since my main fandom is hockey rpf and well..... do trade announcements count as spoilers? :P
