Sorry, I just had to get that out there. Last time I discussed Teen Wolf, I know I mentioned how I’m kind of ‘meh’ on Scott but I have always loved the realism of Scott not being academically brilliant enough to skip classes and have his entire world turned upside down and still get good grades. So I loved that he’d spent the summer doing extra reading and trying to catch up. I wanted to reach through the screen and hug him when he started talking about he was trying to be a better person, a better son, a better friend. You are wonderful at all those things already! YOU ARE ESPECIALLY WONDERFUL WITH YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH ALLISON. I wanted to slow clap when he talked about how he had not texted or called Allison once since they’d broken up. Exactly. When a person asked for space, you give it to them.
(Sidenote: I loved Melissa in this and I really hope we see more of her this season. I love it when parents are aware of and support what their kids are doing.)
On the subject of handling breakups well, go Lydia. I am ALL for her working out her heartbreak over Jackson by having sex with random hotties, although only in a MTV show would anyone not a pedophile want a freshman boys anywhere near her lady business.
The scene with her and Allison in the car was fantastic. They were totally believable as friends and teenagers.
I’m very interested in Allison’s arc this season. Fingers crossed that it involves her continuing to hunt.
Regarding the badass black chick, I have heard rumors that she's not dead, so I will just say that I am v.v. intrigued and if we don't see more of her, I'm going to be pissed.
