I think most of my problems with Hannibal is how much they’re telling stories that don’t viscerally work for me – like, protagonist in the underworld? As a trope, that does nothing for me and I haven’t watched Silence of the Lambs recently enough to be like, ‘OMG, PARALLELL!’
