-Artemis and Wally always intended to go back to superheroing - but they both decided that they wanted to spend some time being normal people together.
-Wally's first year at college, with a limitless meal-plan and various dining halls, was the first time since he got super-speed, that he was not-hungry most of the time.
-Artemis was terrified about moving in with Wally, although she tried to hide it. It was so normal and such a clear step towards marriage. She was also really excited about it, too.
It kind of snuck up on me, but yeah, I think it is. Specially, at the Oracle/Nightwing time period. (And this is a totally awesome question.) Beyond just liking both characters, I absolutely LOVE that Babs, post-shooting, is involved in an explicitly romantic, explicitly sexual relationship with the hottest piece of ass in the DCU. I cannot get over how awesome it is that after becoming paralyzed, Babs became an absolutely pivotal and powerful superhero, is still able to physically kick ass if needed, and has an active sex/romantic life.
Also, I cannot get enough of those kisses when Dick just pulls Babs out of her chair, and/or the scenes when he collapses next to her and puts his head in her lap.
what are your teen wolf otps for the following, a) ends-up-in-marriage couple; b) threeway functioning relationship; and, c) toxic couple that leads each other to the edges of a cliff
love almost all of these, tbh, but allison/scott is definitely my favorite ♥ i usually don't ~love~ canon couples that actually have an even remote possibility of being endgame -- hahahahaha all my ships get peed on when they get canon all my ships a branch got stuck in my eye that's all -- but scott/allison makes my heart race and i just love them so much. also, re: the respect thing, i think i may have accidentally gotten inspired by them for the main couple of my novel. ops
Clint/Natasha. I love that Natasha is an action girl who drives the plot, I love these two characters’ sense of history with each other, canon has not yet ruined this ship for me. Sadly, I haven’t found many new fics about these two recently, but just thinking about them makes me smile.
I think date night is very, very casual. Like, I think that they have enough ‘working dates’ that Natasha is never like, ‘I really need to see Clint in a suit’ and if she wants to, say, go for the ballet just for fun, I think she’d take one of her girl friends (I vote Sharon Carter). So date night for Clint and Nat involves bad movies on cable, takeout, and sex. Or maybe some sexy sparring and then actual sex.
In any version of canon? No. In my based-on-The-Avengers-movie fandon? Hell yes.
do pepper and tony ever attempt to double date with anyone? (either for fun, or for matchmaking purposes?)
I think that most of what would be Tony and Pepper’s double dates would be accidents – like, they wind up spending time with coupled-off avengers and it looks like a double-date but wasn’t intended that way. I DO think there might be an intentional double-date with Rhodney and who ever he hooks up with, but I think that is something both Rhodney and Pepper delayed as long as possible.
