Logan has enough issues that, given her own issues, I've never blamed Veronica when she was hard on him. I think people forget that our big intro to him was his smashing Veronica's headlights in (of course, a few eps later and he'd kill anyone else who did that, but that's not the point...)
As far as shipping goes, the things you seem to go for the most is enemies as lovers, and characters with very similar traits(whether obvious or otherwise) but with some sort of conflict between them.
