Although I love, love Cowboy Bebop, I agree with what you're saying. Although the group had the potential to be a close-knit family, tragically outside circumstances prevented the group from staying together or building a very close relationship.

I'm sure Kate Daniels is on my wish list somewhere, but thank you for reminding me, sometimes it's too easy for me to forget recs.
