Millennial Yells At Clouds. Clouds Continue On, Oblivious.

Due to password requirements (letters, at least one capital, numbers) and security concerns that required me to change my passwords, at this point I remember, basically, NONE of my passwords for various sites. I’m currently using the super-safe and security-conscious measure of a text file with all my passwords in it.

Am I officially an old woman now?

Aww. I have a similar system, trololol.

Yeah... I have so many passwords now so I have a text file too. But I did get a good tip about password making so now I use song lyrics/quotes for all my passwords by taking the first letter of each of the words in the quote and I'll capitalize a letter and add a number at the end (so it makes the text file feel a little safer since I just put the quote). I also lie on security questions now and use a diff fandom for each to base my answers on.

Oh, that is a good tip.

Have you tried LastPass? Or you can use KeePass for more control.

I have not. I’m a little leery of using another program to remember all my passwords, though.

I can't tell anyone about my password protection system! That would reduce its effectiveness! At least I don't have my password taped to the underside of my stapler.
