Ooh, agreed on this. Especially Elizabeth/Jack (although I'm not that high on Elizabeth/Will either, it's a "tell, don't show" to me.)

And yeah on Kristoff/Anna. I mean, I like that Hans was presented as a giant megadork, though his being deceptive was also creative too. But yeah, K/A was more like "Everyone says we're perfect together!" rather than me really feeling the love.

Yep. I'm not a fan of romances where it's outsiders fueling the story, which is how this read.

Absolutely. It's another form of "tell don't show" for me. If they're in love, I want to see it coming from them and make it believable that I can feel the attraction between them. The movie itself, or chars within, saying "OMG YOU TWO ARE SO PERFECT AND YOU ADORE EACH OTHER" just doesn't cut it.

Yep. Still kinda annoyed that Frozen didn't end with Anna and Hans getting married and Elsa and Kristoff in a corner.

Elsa: One day.
Kristoff: I tried to talk her out of it. So, you, uh, like ice?

ARGH. I mean, the whole "Kristoff has a huge boner for ice" pretty much screams that he and Elsa were probably intended to be written together.

Right? It works SO much better than Anna/Kristoff, and doesn't involve all the other cast members telling Anna what she SHOULD feel.
