Which reminds me - have you ever watched Damages? If not, I think you would enjoy it because it's like the FULL story of Nikita and Amanda, not just the back-half after the relationship falls apart. And there's an episode in S5 that is definitely just that airport AU.

oooh, that would be basically a case fic, where Veronica is trying to get to whatever city Logan is in before he ships out, but she comes across a mystery in the airport, she schedules a new flight and a new flight and tells herself she's going to get on them, but she keeps not boarding because she has to solve the crime and by the time she does, it's too late to get to Logan BUT WAIT, there he is, he booked a flight and came to her because he knew from the first phone call that she wasn't leaving until she'd solved the mystery.

I've watch the first episode. Or most of the first episode. I couldn't find an easy way to watch it, and it was pretty dark for me.

Also - yeah, Damages is pretty dark. It's dark in a very intellectual way though, so I was able to still engage with the show, and it really gets into all the layers of all the women on the show. It may not be your cup of tea though.

Beverly Katz + Will Graham EVERYBODY LIVES AU, FOR REASONS

This starts with Beverly shooting the ever-fucking-fuck out of Hannibal, then rescuing Miriam. Bedelia comes back to town and offers counseling to Miriam and Abigail (who was also held prisoner somewhere). After years of therapy, both Miriam and Abigail join the FBI to hunt down sick motherfuckers. (They probably also sometimes kill them when the law can't touch them.) Will gets some actually helpful therapy and/or medication, ends up getting stable enough to have a relationship with Alana. Alana and Will live together with their dogs. Bella has a miracle recovery.
