1. Reply to this post, and I will pick three of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.

4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo!
xlovelylightx picked:

This is from the comic "Fray" which is a story set in the future Buffy-verse. It's on of those icons that I keep thinking I might want to rotate out, yet always keep, just because it's such a gorgeous shot of her, and I love the splatter of blood, and the text is so damn apropos.

This is one of those icons that I see, and then chase the author down to find out if it's gackable. The colors are just fantastic, and while I always think the text says 'heritage' (no, I don't know why), the text is great, and it applies to so much of what the necklace represents and who Katara is.

Great scene, great line, two awesome characters, and I often have moments in my life when (I set the sewing pattern on fire) things seem to be going askew.

1. It should read "Trowa's mecha will do backflips on your butt." but there's not enough characters allowed. Trowa is from Gundam Wing. He is a circus acrobat. Because of this, his gundam can walk the tightrope and do very tidy backflips. It's a glorious bit of crack in an anime that's far more cracky than it intends to be.
2. Orphan's Tales is a 2 volume feminist fantasy series that deconstructs storytelling and mytharc and fairy tale types about a girl who has stories written inside her eyelids, and her own story only comes to her once she'srelated all the storyies written in her eyelids.
3. In most shounen action, the final arc is a "save the girl" arc, in which the hero(they typically arent too bright in certain ways) and heroine finally get around to figuring out and confessing their feelings(note that often, their friends have always made it a topic of conversation in front of them.) After which, they basically...go off and make babies.
