So, during my writer's group, since April is national poetry month, we were tasked to write a poem.

I write down 5 7 5 on different lines of my page, thinking I'm going to write a haiku before realizing that no, the words I want to write are too long, forget that syllable restriction poetry thing. However, the mediator of our group glances over, sees what I'm doing, and goes, "I want to mention that you can do a haiku, like [personal profile] redbrunja."

Now, I mean to say, "I'm not doing a haiku."

What I actually say is: "I'm not doing Hakkai."

I laugh hysterically, try to repeat myself correctly, and end up making the exact same slip of the tongue.

In other news, did livejournal recently give use more entries per tag? Because I could have sworn that it was limited to a hundred posts, but now it's looking like it's limited to 1,000.

(Also, I'm going to be spamming your flists. I hope no one gets too annoyed.)
