Iron Man vs Batman. So hilarious.

Also, TMI wonderings about Tony Stark behind the cut.

Now, I'm thinking that Stark would but one of those guys carrying around, like, forty condoms at all times, but my mother was like, "a playboy like that? No way. For those kind of guys, it's the women's problem." To which I replied, "what? Post-90s? That's just suicidal!"

Your thoughts?

I suspect he carries them, but only the brand made by Stark Industries.

He probably has his suit jackets specially designed to hold the maximum number of condoms without ruining the line of the suit. Tucked into the lining and all that.

That's what I would assume.

You're right. I'm sure that Stark Industries makes condoms. They may even explode. *snerk* Or use lots of war imagery in their marketing campanes.

[identity profile] fairest1.livejournal.com 2008-05-26 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
No exploding. That defeats the purpose of condoms.

But perhaps a missile-launching theme in the campaign . . .

Don't feel bad. I'm had one of my college friends tell me she would be totally unsurprised to hear that I moonlight an superheroine or a spy, so my kill count damn well better be high!

Definitely with a missile-launching theme in the campaign.

I imagine that if any woman's planning on jumping in bed with Tony, it's her who's got the condom.

Or, if it's a Vanity Fair reporter he managed to snag in roughly thirty seconds, they probably stay in the bedside table. For some reason I can't see him actually, realistically carrying around more than one or two.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2008-05-26 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but I assume Stark would carry SOME. I mean, what if he meets someone he wants to seduce, and she wasn't planning on it?

[identity profile] iapetusneume.livejournal.com 2008-05-26 12:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh. When I did the meme, the person I "worked" for happens to be a pacifist. This makes me laugh, a lot. That and she's one of my favorite published authors and doesn't have me friended back and most likely doesn't know who I am.

*amused*

And I think Tony has multiple condom-dispensing locations. There is probably a compartment in each of his cars that has a few (and in different places, depending on if he's driving the car or being chauffeured), as well as carrying a few on his own person. Also some in traditional locations, like the nightstand and such. Especially if we're talking Movie!Stark, because it's set in modern times and I don't think he'd be that irresponsible, even when he was still very much the playboy.

It'd be interesting if there had been a pregnancy scare once, and that's what made him become cautious about it.

I also see him having custom-made condoms. Like, they were crafted to fit him perfectly.

[identity profile] redbrunja.livejournal.com 2008-05-27 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, that is lol-tastic.

And now I'm thinking about who had to fit the condoms, and imagining Pepper having to, like, cooridinate this and whatever, and deal with all the condom conversations. (I bet that was the only time she drank on the job).

Also, I think believing Tony carries condoms is a generational thing - like, my mother can't imagine him doing it, and I'm not, 'well, of course he would!'
