Both A Little Scared, Neither One Prepared

Saw Enchanted yesterday, which was awesome, both because the movie is hysterical and because I had an awesome audience to watch it with. *hugs you guys*

Now, however, I have the theme from Beauty & The Beast in my head.

However, despite going to sleep with Mrs. Potts singing in my head, I had horrible, easy to remember, serial killer dreams last night with Sakura.

Probably because I was reading Naruto right before I got to bed and

Oh, Gaara.

Also, while it sucks that Sakura's now 'tied' to a tree, I did like how she was immediately ready to defend Sasuke. If only she'd been a little more effective.

Also, after Sasuke's little speech about 'not losing what is dear to him again....' well, I may not thing Sakura/Sasuke is an entirely doomed relationship.

Oh man, I wrote a comment and then saw a typo and foolishly deleted without copy/pasting. Why, why did I have to re-read? :P

Exactly. I mean, there is potential for him to freak out or be bothered by it at some times, but I think that would be prompted by specific circumstances, and the resolution of that would make their relationship stronger.

(See? Even when there are problems, Kakashi's potential-maybe-possibly insecurities would help the relationship, eventually. KAKASHI IS PERFECT AND I WILL EXCEPT NO EVIDENCE TO THE CONTRARY! )

Exactly! Where I have a really hard time thinking that Sasuke would know how to deal with the emotions of jealousy without ruining, or almost ruining, any relationship he's in. And while Kakashi isn't perfect (unless we ignore his teaching), he's far, far superior to Sasuke.

I have my own suspicions that he might just not be able to respect her in many ways; I mean, he never seemed to respect her, even if he cared about her, earlier in the series. Now that Sakura is older, I think not being respected is something that she would not tolerate, especially considering that I don't think she'd be anywhere near as infatuated with him as she used to be (even if he was what she always wanted, she'd break that habit if it hurt her too much.)

(Kakashi, however, does respect her. ^_^ Hooray Kakashi!)

*nods* I don't want to say things like, 'it could never work' but I do think Sasuke not respecting her is something that would have to be addressed, whereas I think Kakashi has the ability to be more flexible with his perceptions - remember in Shippudeen when she first breaks open the ground around him? I think it would take a lot more to get Sasuke to realize that Sakura's not as weak as he remembers her.

Sometimes I wonder what Tsunade's thoughts on Sakura and potential suitors might be. I think it would be kind of funny, for example, to hear Tsunade's thoughts on Kakashi/Sakura, Ino/Sakura or Sasuke/Sakura... I feel like she might have some disdain for the last one, but I could just be horribly, horribly biased.)

I actually have an idea for a fic where at some much later date, it's revealed that the reason that Kakashi wasn't seeing much of Sakura during the timeskip was that Tsunade noticed him looking at Sakura, discreetly zapped his nerves, dragged him off into a corner, and threatened to burn all his books and remove his eyes if he so much as touched Sakura.

But honestly, I need to be around Tsunade a bit more before I can give a good judgment about what she'll think about Sakura's love life.

OH! And yesterday I had a random Ino-revelation that I might use for the fic! (Which, by the way, seems to be getting longer and longer in my head. Why couldn't I just start with a one shot? :P)

I laughed so, so hard. (I need to learn how to use photoshop so I can make multiple icons of that scene. And make a mood theme, feature his amazing expression. Ah! I love Kakashi. He's so cool.)

That would be awesome! It was a great scene. And Kakashi is totally cool.

(Of course, now I am thinking of how she'd react to Ino and Sakura. "More sake," perhaps?)
