I mentioned in the car ride yesterday, how utterly glad I am that I got into Naruto. If Avatar is the sweet, awesome boyfriend that didn't quite end well, Naruto is the rebound guy who you kinda hate but hook up with because the sex is hot and violent.

And then I have my happy, shippy, 'OMG they're totally made for each other' Sakura/Kakashi place.

....And it's a damn, damn good thing that I'm here because I hate it, if you know what I'm saying:

Wow, that goodbye gesture Sakura's making looks really, damn obscene.

Goddamn long training montage that has Naruto stealing Sakura's type of attacks.

Fuck you, Kishimoto.

That right there is the best excuse I actually have to read Naruto.

Basically, the way Kishimoto drew Sakura waving goodbye looks really obscene to my eyes, even though I know that's not what Kishimoto intended.

And Naruto's just had the explaination of what he's going to be learning, and they mentioned that it will boost illusions (illusions are what Sakura is innately good at, from way back in the beginning) and make him super strong (which is what Tsunade taught Sakura already, as something that requires perfect chakra control).

It's like me and SGA. The future seasons call to me. Because Ronon is pretty and Sam is there and Elizabeth and Teyla are cool.

And...yes. Glad I stopped. I actually suspect I'll find out where I uit and binge through the end if it ever ends, but I kind of hope I don't fall prey to that.

(Naruto? Perfect chakra control? Since when? And that one's been Sakura's thing since the beginning.)

(Right, which was why Sakura's super strength made sense. Naruto, however, is going to learn how to draw energy from the world around him - like he doesn't have enough chakra already - to, they say, get the same result. As you can imagine, I'm pissed.)
