Provided that they don't completely fuck up in the next movie (*glares at Hollywood*), Pepper will continue to be awesome. She won't get killed or kidnapped or held hostage. If she does get captured at some point, by the time Tony gets there, all he'll need to do is carry the baddies to where the cops are waiting. And she will never end up in a refrigerator, unless she's forced to pull an Indiana Jones and seek shelter from a nuclear blast.
I...did not watch IronMan. *shrug* Some things just don't interest me, no matter how good they are.
That said, I watched Batman but was unable to really enjoy it because Heath Ledger's Joker scared the crap out of me and the whole social commentary thing (for someone like me who didn't watch the first Batman movie) was quite unexpected. Those kind of things always make me uncomfortable.
Batman was a very good movie though - I would be crazy not to say that. Unfortunately I just can't compare the two. Hellboy II...*yawn* I don't think I've ever been that uninterested in a movie (then again I didn't see the first Hellboy either and I've never been interested in the franchise - I went because I had to accompany my cousin).
