I really like Sasuke continuing to get his ass handed to him, and the fact that Juungo saved both Karin and shark-boy. Now I want OT3 fic for them.

Plus it seems to any team with Sasuke in it needs TWO medic nins just to keep him from suffering the consequences of his dumb, dumb plans.

Karin keeps getting hotter and hotter, doesn't she, what with with bite marks all over her body.

YES, Sasuke. That's what you get for being a moron. Would it kill you to actually learn about your intended target? I still want the guy to continue to kick Sasuke's butt and then get away safe and sound, but that might be too much to hope for. (I mean, they attacked him first with every intention of sucking his life out. They deserve an assbeating.) A mutual draw would still be satisfactory, since they do have him outnumbered.

I get increasingly tired of Sasuke as the story progresses. You know that Sasuke is just going to recover from his seemingly fatal wounds, pull some awesome Sharingan move that had never been shown in the series before, which will pwn Hachibi, and that'll be the end of that.

That, or somehow, Hachibi sides with them and helps defeat Akatsuki in a serious shymalanic turn of events.

KARIN IS HOT, YES. So. many. bite. marks.

You know, I could understand why people liked Sasuke pre-timeskip, even if I thought he was a bit of a prick - it made a lot of sense. Now? I just want to smack that boy.

And yes, the fact that I know in a few chapters Sasuke will pull some more-special-than-you move really lesses my enjoyment.

An interview with Kishi half a year ago revealed that this year in Naruto was going to be dedicated to Sasuke, but that there's going to be some Kakashi and Sakura backstory. Unfortunately, they are separated stories that have nothing to do with kakasaku, BUT STILL!

STILL! Oh, man, that is awesome! I have been hoping to get some Sakura backstory (please, please let her parents be civilians, please) and more Kakashi backstory can only be on the win! I hope we get more of Sakura's timeskip training... that would be awesome.

But bad, bad news that it's a Sasuke-centric story. I wonder how long we have to wait for the Kakashi and Sakura.

Yes! Other people tht think Sasuke needs his ass to be handed to him- then taken away, refried and given back to him. This'll be what?- the second time in 3 chapters he's been healed?! The boy should die and just make it easy on his team.

I just want that boy to suffer the consequences for his actions, which, so far, has NEVER HAPPENED.

I mean, he betrays his best friends and they still love him, he goes to Orachamaru and gets power without suffering for it or having his body stolen, he kills his brother and then finds a new Uchiha to yank his chain...

Well, I'm pretty new to Naruto...and I did like Sasuke at first, but then there was Kakashi. And Sasuke started doing really stupid stuff. He should haved died multiple times by now. I mean, he got clotheslined for crying out loud! Isn't that a move you automatically guard against?! *sigh*

Truer words have never been spoken. It's very hard to be into Sasuke when Kakashi is there pwning a hundred times harder.

I don't mind the getting clotheslined (that was right before he left Konoha, right?) so much as the dumb moves like leaving Konoha or going after the eight-tails that it doesn't look like he's going to face the consequences of.

I'm just waiting for the manga to get back to Konoha so we can-hopefully- see Kakashi kick/and or fry some Akatsuki tail.
I was actually speaking of how eight-tails nailed Sasuke in the chest. It looked like a clothesline to me. And Sasuke just takes it! He didn't block or anything, just got smacked down like a ragdoll. Which I suppose he is in a sense. Whatever. Give me some Kaka action! ;)

Suigetsu gave some lame-ass excuse about it being about Kisame, didn't he? And I suppose you could argue that Karin is like Sakura when she was 12--completely smitten with him.

Yeah, considering what he has/will put them through and the fact that they don't have a Kakashi being like, 'you're trash if you don't support your team' it's kinda hard to understand why they're so attached to him.

And even excepting Kakashi, there's no reason for there to be any attachment between any of them. Naruto and Sakura actually knew him--who he was before he became ruthless and selfish and, I venture, a bad person--long enough and intimately enough to care about him and form bonds, and for him to form bonds with them. He was like a brother to Naruto, and I do think that Sakura really loved him. And, as I see it, he cared for them too.

Anything you could argue for Suigetsu and Karin pales in comparison.

Him asking Karin how she was kind of pissed me off, because I can't see any reason why he should care. These people don't know really know him and I don't think she sees beyond the superficial with him. Plus, he's already demonstrated how far he's fallen--why does bastard!Sasuke suddenly give a shit? It cheapens the bonds between Team 7 and it bugs me.

Yes, exactly. Naruto and Sakura have this whole history of who Sasuke was, and I don't even know if Sugetsu and Karin know his history - trying to act like there is the same bond between his new team and old, just feels so... fake.
