Okay, I'm really enjoying my fiction textbooks (short, short stories, a very readable book on writing) but my textbook has the WORST attitude about genre writing. When he uses examples of bad writing, he flat-out calls in 'genre writing' instead of 'bad writing' and acts like being plot-driven leads to all writing ills.
Also, I'm going to be fic-spamming tonight, since I have some free time and have a couple fics that I owe people and never posted. And then
