At Your Service

I've been feeling a little like I've become a mono-fandom fangirl, so I seek help from my flist.

Give me a character and prompt; hopefully from a fandom I usually don't write, haven't written lately, or haven't written enough in. Or even just a character from one of my main fandoms who I don't write often or ever.

(Or you can just request what you'd really like to read, even if I just wrote it last week or last night. pzb, this applies to you.)

And in honor of livejournal's asshatery: bonus points if you get me a older/younger pairing.

So Is This Normal?

Had a great day. Finally got to hang out with some friends and got awesome books, which was very much of the win.

Slightly more stressful evening afterward, but....

I've been feeling really nihilistic lately, and kind of detached from the wider world. Like, I really have no energy for lj's drama or what's going on politically now.... and it makes me feel just so....

*sigh*

I don't know, part of my thinks that my generation has been trained to a.) not care and b.) not believe we can make a difference, and right now I really feel both the former and the later.
