I Haven't Even Started To Be Bad Yet

Secondly, for various reasons, I'm not going to be eating sugar or dairy for three weeks after SakuraCon - if you have delicious sugar- and dairy- free recipes, please let me know.

Thirdly:

While I am pretty evenly split between fanon/canon OTPs, I have noticed a distinct tendency for me to write more for my fanon OTPs. Now, I think there are several reasons for this, from fanon being less 'there' (i.e. less need to write/read fic to get my OTP fix, when I can just watch the show and see it) to having more room to play. But I really wanted to open the floor to discuss this (code: I'm chained to my ironing board, please entertain me).

So, what is your opinion on the stronger pull (if you notice one) to fanon couples?

Or, if read fanfic for your canon OTP, what does fanfic give you that the original media doesn't. (Besides smut.)
