Okay, Sai/Sakura Shippers, Let Me Clear Something Up For You

Okay, boys and girls, pay attention.

You know how Sai calls Sakura "Ugly"?

Do you understand why? (Clearly you don't, or I wouldn't be posting this.)

See, Sai read in a book that nicknames make companions grow closer, and than when picking a nickname, you choose a word that means the opposite of their actual physical traits.

Thus, in Sai's head, Sakura is pretty and Ino is unattractive (even though he calls her Ms. Beautiful.)

I know, the anime totally fucked this up royally, and made it seem like Sai found Sakura homely. They were wrong.

Sai doesn't. He probably thinks quite flattering things about her in his head and then calls her Hag to her face.

Because Sai is just that bad at relating to people.

And I seem to recall he said Naruto had a small penis in a more factual, non friendly manner. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but trying to remember is Sai said it as a nickname is making me think too much about Naruto's cock, and my brain is about to stab itself in the occipal lobe to make the images stop.

On another note, I was listening to the Mob Song from Beauty and the Beast, and the phrase "screw your courage to the sticking place" is, imho, awesome. It should be used more.
