Until today, I believed that Gillian Welch was a singer-songwriter who lived and worked during the Great Depression. And I say that as someone who at one point was listening to an interview with her. Trying to figure out if she was still alive, how the interview was in such good quality, etc. Slow on the uptake, party of one.
On a completely different note, please tell me that I am not the only person who has not even started (and does not even know) what to write for Yuletide.
On a more related note, I was wandering through Dear Author letters to try and get the inspirational juices flowing and I noticed something that really delighted me: a LARGE percentage of letters said something to the effect of, 'I love the ladies; so anything with them being awesome would be awesome / no hating on girls, plz.' IT WAS AWESOME.
