I Hear It In My Head Real Low

I’ve noticed this really annoying tendency for people to lead into a Derek/Siles graphic by starting with Lydia/Stiles, which I fucking hate. It’s like, ‘the entire fandom ships your pairing, you do NOT need to tear down the one-sided canon ship that I love to make the case for your ship.’

I tend not to care about a ships ‘canon-ness’ so much as the quality of interaction I get between the characters I’m invested in (and I’m saying that if the writers wrote Lydia/Stiles in a horrible way I’d be okay with it) but I am PRAYING to the media gods that season three of Teen Wolf is basically Lydia/Stiles start a requited relationship that ends with kissing in the finale. Because goddamn it when fandom fails me, I have to turn to THE ACTUAL SHOW to try and feed my shipper needs.

This is making me really excited. I love the cool tones that everything is filmed in and how it looks so blue. Also, I’d like to point out that nothing past the halfway point of the film is shown. Kudos, trailer editor, for holding things back.

Death Kisses Back

Since April is National Poetry Month, I figured this would be a good time to throw myself on my flist’s mercy and see if you can help me find a poem.

I don’t remember the specifics of the poem so much as my professor’s analysis of it. There was section where the narrator was talking about herself and a female friend flirting with a cute boy in a bar and the narrator’s friend took the boy home, the two of them taking a cab in the rain. My professor told me that the cute boy was death (specifically, committing suicide) and the poem was written by a friend of Sylvia Plath’s after Plath’s suicide.

Any suggestions?
