So, I just read Stephanie's run as Robin, War Games, and the couple of issues that have her coming back and I'm about ready to crawl into a fetal position and sob.

This is so fucking true.

One of the most brutal for me was Dov/Gail, on Rookie Blue. I'm quote to quote you something I wrote years ago and then didn't use for the 30 days of shippping wrong meme:

Every episode of rookie blue I watch, I am kind of waiting for Gail and Dov to GO THERE. Dov loves Gail's mean side and is pretty much the only character on the show who snarks back at her. One of the pleasures of watching these two characters is that they will do both the zingers and the quieter moments - I'm thinking of Dov sweetly and non judgmentally explaining what was going on with Chris to Gail or Gail snarkily but kindly calling Dov on the fact that whatever weirdshit he's doing with x and y, one or both of them is going to get hurt, so he needs to figure out where and what his priorities are. AND THEN THERE WAS THE LOVE-CONFESSION THE WRITERS SUBSEQUENTLY FORGOT ABOUT.
