Someone has GOT to make this song into an epic Sakura/Sasori fight vid. They've just GOT to.

And when I actually watched that fight animated, I suddenly understood why people would ship them, when he's talking about how only the best shinobi are made in to puppets and he's looking dead at her with the implication that he'd like to remake her in his image.

Sasori x Sakura is a guilty pleasure ship of mine just because of that moment. It was obvious (to me, anyways) that he was intrigued by her the whole fight.

Sasori... creeped me out in the way Hannibal Lecter did. I don't care how flattering his back-ass ended compliment was. Any man who wants to take a girl, and literally turn her into a puppet is nucking futs.

And I was never more happy than when Sakura kicked his ass. That entire fight scene, while awesome, was probably one of the creepiest things I've ever read.

And I realized in the car that I'm going to have to buy one of their albums, because I've loved every song I've heard so far.

Agreed about Sasori. Making puppets of the parents? Creeped me the fuck out. Even knowing that it was Kakashi's dad who took them out, I couldn't shake the feeling that little Sasori had had a hand in their deaths.

Also, I've been listening obsessively to "Baby, it's you' and I am tempted to write a truly wicked Kakasaku to John Legand's "Alright."

Also, in my head, Shino fall for a girl he meets while at the bug room of the Konoha zoo. Where she's trying to desensitize herself from childhood trauma.

I know, isn't it awesome? Partially because, which is more romantic:

a.) I'm not freaked out at all by your bloodline limit and thus am the perfect girl for you

or

b.) I get on the kitchen table when an ant crawls across the floor and was tortured with bugs as a child, your bloodline limit freaks me the fuck out yet I still date you because I care about you that much.

I'm not saying the girl wouldn't be freaked out by the bloodline limit. I mean, really, who WOULDN'T be freaked out by your loer having thousands of bugs inside his body? All I was saying was she'd be the type to take a deep breath and go, "Okay... I can deal with bugs. I just need to deal with the bugs being INSIDE you."

Though option B is very sweet too. I actually read a really adorable Shino/Hinata fic once where they were talking and he says something about how it's hard to find someone because people are afraid of the bugs and she says, "I'm not afraid of you." He goes, "Not me, the bugs." And she says, "The bugs ARE you, aren't they?" Anyway, it sounds a lot dumber in paraphrase than it was in the actual fic. I'll try and dig up a link later for you, if you want.
