 I'm so sad that it doesn't look like they're going to be a remix redux this year. 

I actually had enough non-porn stories in appropriate fandoms and was so looking forward to seeing how someone would tweak on of my stories.

(Especially because typically, really good authors participate in that challenge.)

It was. It's the challenge where you get assigned another writer, take one of their stories, and retell it, like changing the pov character or something along those lines. I've read some really awesome stories that came out of it.

Sort-of. It's run by a couple people, and when I asked one of them about it, she said that she wasn't sure if it was happening this year, and since she hasn't mentioned it in her lj, I'm pretty sure it's not.
