Yankee-kun To Menage-chan 41

 I'm current with all the scanlated chapters (unless anyone knows where the next three are translated), so please, feel free to ask/comment/squee/rant about anything in the run of the series. 

In the last chapter, I was so glad that Makoto is a girl. Also, surprised. And she's quite a cutie, isn't she? Something about her chin reminds me of Nami from One Piece.

As soon as they started talking about Makoto being lonely, I knew that he (as I thought at the time) would be joining cast, and while  it would have been great to have a gay geek boy as part of the gang, when I realized that, I was unhappy with the number of male-to-female cast. Having Makoto as a girl is great both because makes the number of male/female cast equal (if my math is right, I'm tired, it might not be.) 

Randomly, as much as I typically lost VAST, I think I hate every song on their CD Crimson.

Yeah, I'm not big on their Crimson cd either. The only song I listen to off of there is "Dead Angels". It's the first track on the cd and I think that song is definitely one of the prettiest VAST has ever done. But the rest of the cd can just be non-existant as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I love Dead Angels, but I just found myself skipping all this VAST songs that were all from the Crimson CD. Clearly not their best work.

Nope. But, on a brighter note they're supposed to be coming out with a new cd this year, one that's more along the lines of "April" from what I understand. That and the potential Muse cd coming out this year has me a very giddy fan girl.

I've been watching it here and there, but I honestly haven't had a chance to really dive head first into it. I've been busy working on original stuff recently and trying to get enough of a portfolio around so that I can possibly do some free work for the college magazine here. *shrugs* It'd be nice to get money for it, but at least this'll get my stuff out there, right?

I also suspected Makoto was a girl and now I'm kinda shipping her with Chiba. Chiba saying that he's content with the gang is just 'awwww' inducing although I'm wondering when they'll get into Adachi's past. I'm really intrigued by her connection with the Yakuza and whenever she takes off the glasses and pigtails!

I knew it! I knew she was familiar! I mean, I haven't seen One Piece yet but I do know Nami via fannish osmosis and Makoto does look like Nami!

I had not idea Makoto was a girl until the reveal, which was very fun.

And her and Chiba together would be epically cute. And finding out Adachi's backstory will be fun.

I guess the reason why I suspected was because I knew in Adachi's universe nothing is what it seems. Makoto and Chiba seem on the way of becoming epically cute!
