In your opinion, which is the anime/manga you know that...

...you like the most?

Soul Eater

...has the best character development?

Saiyuki

...has the most original plot?

Princess Tutu

...has the most imaginative writers?

This is a tie between Soul Eater (the world building) and Princess Tutu (absolutely everything).

...has the biggest Gary Stu among its characters?

Naruto. See title character. And also Sasuke.

...has the biggest Mary Sue among its characters?

I have yet to met a female character who reaches the Sue-heights of Sasuke and Naruto. Although to be fair, the protagonist of Sailor Moon typifies everything I hate about anime female characters.

...inspired you to draw your first anime fanart?

I have yet to inflict my horrific art on anyone.

...inspired you to write your first anime fanfic?

Fullmetal Alchemist, which was my very first anime.

...has made you laugh more than any other?

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

...has the best filler episodes?

Apparently Ouran Host Club has filler episodes which I never noticed, so I'm going to go with that anime.

...you stopped watching for some time, then started watching again?

Skip Beat

...is the sequel that should have never been made?

To be honest, I'm not thrilled about a second FMA series being made, although I've yet to actually watch it.

...you're embarrassed to admit you like?

Naruto

...pissed you off when they stopped airing it?

I can't think of anything.

...made you cry the most?

I've cried at two works of fiction in my entire life - neither were anime.

...started out well, then went down?

Black Cat.

...had a mediocre plot but excellent characters?

Naruto, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan (seriously, plot? In that anime?).

...had a good premise but the characters were incredibly obnoxious?

Bleach.

...you watched just because you were "in love" with a character?

Well, I kept reading Naruto past the wave arc because of Kakashi....

...hated when they aired fillers?

Soul Eater. DAMN YOU EXCALIBUR, DAMN YOU TO HELL!

...impressed you just because it existed?

Claymore

...never could follow up and understand no matter how much you tried?

Serial Experiments: Lain. Also, I typically need someone to explain the plot of Black Lagoon to me after I finish reading the arc.

...every time you watched an episode you had to comment it with your neighbors?

Naruto, Soul Eater.

...is a disgrace for everything animation-related?

Sailor Moon, Pokemon. Both shows that taught me that as a genre, I did not like anime.

Yes, completely agree with your opinion on Sailor Moon and Pokemon. They too ruined anime for me. Oh, and Beyblade also made my brain meats hurt (damn characters couldn't punch through the glass they got trapped behind and had to use their f**king tops instead.) Fullmetal Alchemist was the first one I watched in a long time that I actually enjoyed.

I stopped watching Naruto at the Wave Arc and I think the main reason I came back to that fandom was because of the characters. Naruto's redeeming feature is that, and the hot smut that comes from the fandom.

It's funny really, I love Fullmetal alchemist, but rarely read fanfiction let alone write any myself for said fandom. On the other hand, I have a whole folder of intheworks Naruto fan fiction and the stuff I posted on my Livejournal yet I'm somewhat embarrassed about liking Naruto.

I am a bit hesitant to watch the second FMA series mainly because I'm so attached to the first one. I understand that the managa (never read that) is different from the original fma anime and I heard that FMA2 based off that. I can't help but think 'Why couldn't they have just done that the first time?' But then I remember that, while I still love that anime, it's a huge cash cow and they can still milk it for all it's worth.

Well I think that's it.... back to writing more smut for my embarrassing fandom.

I only watched FMA because all my friends were into manga and I wanted to watch one so I'd know what they were talking about sometimes.

The reason that the original series is different from the manga is that the manga wasn't finished when they were writing the series, so they just went off in a completely different direction. And it turned out that I liked some of the characterizations and plots much better than in the manga.

Sometimes the badly written fandoms are easier and more fun to write fanfic in.
