Hokage-chan (Kakashi/Sakura)

He was the only man who calls the Hokage '-chan' in public and Kakashi decides he hates Sasuke for that most of all.

It's the reason he avoids being one of her ANBU guards at all costs.

Sometimes it was inescapable; there weren't enough ninjas to cover all the missions, much less be picky about their assignments, and the Hokage hadn't forgotten that Sasuke had once tried to destroy the very clans he was now sitting among.

Sasuke would never wear a Konoha hitai-ate again -but he got his vengeance in other ways.

In his ripely pregnant wife who never left his side, her ragged hair matching Sasuke's blood-colored eyes.

In the way he drawled out the Hokage's name, "Sakura-chaaaaan" stretching the honorific like he could force her back into being the love-sick girl he could walk all over.

Even getting to see the head of Torture and Interrogating snark at the Uchicha, her blue eyes chilly and vicious, even seeing Sakura refuse to place Sasuke's interests over Konoha's again and again and again could make hearing that dismissive "Sakura-chan" bearable.

The only think worse was afterward.

When the meeting was over, Ino would storm out like she was late for a battle, Inuzuka at her heels.

The Hyuugas would escort Karin to her home, Neji distantly polite and Hinata clearly attempting to crack Karin's haughty facade.

And Kakashi would stay, unseen, at the edges of the Hokage's office, listening as Sakura coaxed Sasuke into a better temper, using her mouth and hands and breasts and cunt to shackle Sasuke and his bloodline limit to Konoha.

The Proper Way To Say Goodbye (Anko/Iruka)

The evening after Anko gets the mission scroll, she fucks Iruka exactly the way he likes it.

She kisses him the way he kisses her, all soft lips and nibbles and brief flashes of tongue. When she straddles him, hair loose and dark around her shoulders, she moves slowly, pays attention to every inch of him that sinks inside her, the way he grips her hips hard enough to leave bruises. Moving slow, it's impossible to ignore the way he looks at her, his eyes hot and soft and she clenches, spasms, climaxes around him.

Always the gentlemen, he only comes after she does.

She doesn't even put up a fake struggle when he holds her close before falling into a post-coital doze.

She wakes him up with a blow-job.

She usually hates giving them, but this time she uses every trick Orochimaru taught her.

Anko licks along his length, tracing her tongue along the bottom of his cock before taking his head in her mouth and giving one hard suck. She returns to teasing him, fingernails tracing abstract symbols along his thighs while her mouth gives his erection little sucking kisses that have his hips rolling upwards. He's babbling a bit, voice thick with lust and hands gripping and tugging at her hair even before she takes him deep into her mouth, swallows him down her throat 'till she can almost feel his balls against her lower lip.

Iruka comes with a shout loud enough to wake the neighbors.

Walking to the gates of Konoha to meet Tenzo and that ROOT kid, Anko's left hand itches.

Giving excellent head wasn't the only thing Orochimaru taught her; she wants to make sure he understands exactly what a good student she really was.

Wrong (Sakura/Sai)

Sai thinks he's in love with her.

He tell her so, six months after they start having sex.

In typically Sai fashion, he tells her at the worst moment possible - not during or immediately proceeding sex, when she can ignore it or blow it off as the verbal effects of the dopamine intercourse releases into the human body.

No, he tell hers her in the fucking library, where she can't yell or hit him or distract him with her tongue in his throat.

So she just stares at him stupidly and then walks away.

He follows her.

"It's rude to simply leave without any verbal or physical gestures of goodbye," he comments at her elbow.

She whirls to face him. "Don't tell me you love me ever again," she hissed, voice low. "You bastard, don't you realize when you say things like that I believe you?"

Sage Advice (Kakashi, Sai/Sakura)

Kakashi felt a headache coming on.

It could be from using his sharingan against the missing nin that they'd just routed, or from Naruto's loud, annoying whoops while they routed said missing nin, but it was more likely because Sai had just informed him that Sai had a sexual interest in Haruno Sakura.

Poor bastard.

"Sai," Kakashi said cheerfully, "I don't think she's that type of girl."

Across the clearing, Sakura was yelling at Naruto for being stupid enough to get in the way of four dozen senbon.

"She's type O," Sai said helpfully.

"I meant," said Kakashi carefully, "that if you're looking for someone.... might I suggest Anko?"

Sai looked confused.

"I asked Anko and she said I should talk to you," he said.

"Anko said no?" Kakashi raised his eyebrows in shock, "how... novel."

"No, she said that you would have more experience in this than I would."

Kakashi chuckled. "Well, that isn't even close to true."

"So you can't instruct me in how best to reduce the emotional barriers between myself and Sakura?"

Kakashi rapidly re-evaluated the conversation. "Oh, that's what you were interested in?" He chortled. "Sorry, I thought you were interested in Sakura romantically."

"Oh, I am," Sai beamed. "But pleasing Sakura sexually in much less challenging than attempting to navigate the social aspects our our relationship."

Dirty Little Secret (Itachi/Sakura)

Itachi was used to being persued.

He was Uchiha, he was ANBU, he was handsome, he was elite, and when he choose to lose his virginity (at precisely sixteen and six months and more to ensure that his sexual skills where up to par than for any need for release) he had his pick of women.

When Sakura lost her virginity she was fifteen and wrenched at his clothes like if she didn't get to his skin she'd die and he was cutting her clothes away and when he was finally in her, he lasted for a shamefully short time. He was never more grateful for the sharingan than that night; bespelling Sakura and giving her pleasure that arched her bad and made her scream (he covered her mouth with a hand and smirked) to make up for his regretfully lacking performance in real life.

In the morning, Sakura told him that this was a one-time thing, and to please, please not mention in to anyone, ever, especially Sasuke (as if he discussed his affairs with his foolish younger brother). Itachi agreed.

And then he chased.

He didn't decided on Sakura because she was impressive. She wasn't, or at least she wasn't impressive not in the way that he was, not in the way of prodigies. She was impressive because she wasn't. He'd known her when she was crushing on his brother and obsessed with her looks, he watched her push herself, watched her demand that her opponent take her seriously, watched her demand that the Hokage train her, watched her compensate for her (relative) lack of chakra through sheer stubborness until she was the first member of Team 7 to make jounin, and she fucked the prodigy of the Uchiha clan on the night of her promotion.

And then walked away.

She had her reasons "I don't want people thinking I'm just replacing Sasuke with another Uchiha" she said, as if he wasn't vastly superior to Sasuke, who still hadn't realized that wooing a woman required more than acting like an aloof asshole. "I don't want people thinking I slept my way to my appointment," said the only non-Uchiha who could hold her own in a genjutsu battle against the sharingan.

"I just don't want people to know," she said, and finally he snapped, knocked her legs out from under her and pinned her to the kitchen floor.

"Why?" he snapped, "do you honestly think you can do better?"

Sakura turned her head to the side, refused to meet his eyes.

He licked a line up her neck, bit her ear. "Answer me," he said with deadly softness. She heard the threat, he knew. He felt her body stiffen under his, and if he hadn't already been hard, that would have made him rise.

"What happens after you get tired of me?" Sakura said thickly. "Everyone would know, just like everyone knew I loved Sasuke. And then nothing else I did - nothing else I am, would ever matter as much as the fact that you cast me aside. I couldn't stand to have people looking at me with pity," she spat out the last.

Itachi shifted his hips against hers, rocked into the soft notch between her legs.

"If anyone looked at my wife with pity," he breathed, "I'd burn their eyes out for her."

Play It Again, Sam (Soul/Maka)

When Maka's mother died, Soul played until his fingers bruised.

Maka didn't cry when she received the telegram. She just hunched over for a minute while Soul felt their energy snap apart like a over-stretched rubber band, shook briefly, and then straightened up and went to go make the arrangements for her mother's body to be transported back to Death City.

Death Scythe sobbed through the whole funeral. Maka handed him tissue after tissue with an annoyed looked on her face, and was the first person to walk away from the graveside as soon as Shinigami-sama's words stopped.

She didn't come to the wake.

Soul returned to their apartment to find her lying on her bed in her lovely black dress, skirt spilling over the edge like blood seeping away.

He knocked roughly on her door, stuck his head in when she didn't answer.

"I made dinner," he growled, even though it wasn't his turn.

"I"m not hungry," she said softly, and turned her face towards the wall.

And that's all she did; lie on her bed.

She wander to the bathroom at random intervals, and sometimes she'd nibble on crackers, but basically all she did for three days straight was stare at her wall and lie on top of the covers.

(Soul raised the thermostat.)

On the fourth day, he got Black Star to help him steal Kid's piano.

They set it up right in the living room, which was too small for it. Soul had to pile the piano bench and the coffee table on the couch and it was impossible to see the TV (which Black Star complained about loudly while Tsubaki futilely tried to shush him).

As soon as the piano was inside, he kicked both of his friends out and started to play.

He had to perch the edge of his ass on the windowsill, which was totally uncool, but he did it.

And he played.

He played the same music he had the first time he met Maka, he played his favorite songs, he even played her favorite songs, he played until he could barely tell what he was playing, until each note was match by a dull throb of pain from just below his fingernail all the way to his knuckles.

And then Maka was there, sitting down next to him and her head was on his shoulder and then he was holding her with numb hands while she sobbed into his shoulder and tears soaked through his t-shirt.

Little Blind Girl (Toph)

Most of the time, Toph doesn't feel blind.

Sure, sometimes she misses stuff because of her eyes, like posters or the names of streets or 'no trespassing' signs, but on the whole she does better than fine.

She feels blind as soon as she walks into her old house.

As her mother hugs her too-tightly, tears dripping onto Toph's hair, she would swear she could hear all the bits of herself that she loves - the Blind Bandit, the Runaway, the metalbender- walking away, leaving nothing but a little blind girl behind.

I just read through my response... and I really sounded snarky. Sorry about that.

As for the SasuSaku: I didn't ACTUALLY hate it. You did a great job with it. I just feel SO BAD for Kakashi. Then again, with as much Sakura sexing that we give him... I suppose it's fair to let him suffer every once in a while.

And in my fanon for that fic, once Sasuke's done being a fucktard, Kakashi goes into that office as Sakura's washing the taste of Sasuke out of her mouth, shoves her in her chair and goes down on her until she's a shivering mess of satisfaction.

Oh, you didn't come across as snarky at all! Don't worry about it.

I just feel SO BAD for Kakashi. Then again, with as much Sakura sexing that we give him... I suppose it's fair to let him suffer every once in a while.

Especially when he suffers so beautifully.

And in my fanon for that fic, once Sasuke's done being a fucktard, Kakashi goes into that office as Sakura's washing the taste of Sasuke out of her mouth, shoves her in her chair and goes down on her until she's a shivering mess of satisfaction.

Actually, I think after whoring herself out for Konoha, Sakura's going to be pretty damn sick of sex for a while. However, after Sasuke's mysterious disappearance post the birth of his third child.... Karin and Sakura becoming BFFs.... suddenly she might start getting a certain itch again... and itch that only one ANBU/former sensei can scratch....

I like to think of it as Kakashi just doing it for HER. She does it for the village. He does it for her and asks for nothing in return. If he has to wait until Sasuke's disappearance (which, if he's not mistaken, Sai and Yamato are currently working on at his, ah... mild suggestion) and then some for her to want actual sex with him, that's fine. For now, he doesn't like the idea of Sasuke being a selfish prick and NOT getting her off.
Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 11:35 pm (UTC)
*nods*

That could work.

I could just as easily see Sakura failing to get that, though. She can be a bit thick about some things. ^_^
Friday, July 24th, 2009 12:59 pm (UTC)
Oh, absolutely. Sakura would probably find a rational, albeit foolish, way to explain why Kakashi's making overtures, providing she allows him to to begin with.

Meanwhile, Sai and Yamato are very happily watching Sasuke leave the village for the final time. And this time, he was oh-so-courteous enough to leave a note for Naruto explaining that he was never coming back, don't even think about trying to find him and oh, congrads on his engagement to Hinata.

Of course, it'll still take some pursuading to keep Naruto from following after his boyfr-- er, closest friend in the world... but Hinata can (very shyly) help convince him to stay. And Neji can (not so shyly) assist her by reminding Naruto there wouldn't be a hole in all the world for him to hide in if he up and ran out on Hinata.

She wouldn't be Sakura if she didn't.

And have you read the latest chapter? Because that gives a hint that it might be possible for that one day Naruto goes 'okay, Sasuke, whatever makes you happy' and lets him leave.

And Neji can (not so shyly) assist her by reminding Naruto there wouldn't be a hole in all the world for him to hide in if he up and ran out on Hinata.

*sigh* Poor Neji. And the whole time he's threatening Naruto his pissed that he even has to in the first place.
Saturday, July 25th, 2009 03:49 pm (UTC)
I DID! I was actually very satisfies with this last chapter. And I'm soooo glad the Raikage didn't fall under Messaiah Naruto's spell. Finally, FINALLY, people are starting to act believably. And Kakashi and Tenzou... so marvelous.

Now, I'm interested in this thing with Sai. Is he gonna try and cock block or is he gonna be an enabler for NaruSaku? See, it could go either way. On the one hand, he smiles around Sakura so he COULD derive from that that he likes her. Or, he COULD play naruto's wingman and tell her how Naruto feels for her.

Fan girl is hoping for the first, but realist is expecting the second. Which means poor Hinata gets shafted. Again.

And I'm soooo glad the Raikage didn't fall under Messaiah Naruto's spell.

I SO hope he doesn't ever soften. So much.

I'm guessing the later as well. And Hinata never, ever gets mentioned again.
Monday, July 27th, 2009 04:23 pm (UTC)
Oh, I have no doubt Raikage WILL soften. Sasuke will stage his attack, Naruto will interfere, Raikage will try and seize the moment, Naruto goes into Savior Mode.

And then Sasuke attacks him from behind and Kakashi and Yamato tag team his punk ass while Naruto tries to come to terms with the fact that his emo lover just tried to freakin' kill him.

*ahem* Yeah... last part was SO fanon.

*groooooans* God, I hate this! I hate the fact that Hinata, the ONLY ONE in the entire village who stood up to help Naruto, is gonna become background again. I mean, even if Kishimoto doesn't want them to end up together... some fucking acknowledgement for Hinata admitting she loves him would be nice. That's what's called "closure"
Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 09:22 am (UTC)
*groans*

Word to all this. I don't even want to think about how disappointing this is all going to turn out.

And yeah, Hinata deserves some acknowledgement, even if (it's looking more and more and more like) she and Naruto aren't going to have a romance.
Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 03:13 pm (UTC)
Which it more than likely will, unfortunately. Kishi goes through cycles of utter awesomeness to utter fail. Right now... everything is really awesome. I'm not even gonna bother keeping my fingers crossed that it'll stay that way.

I know, right? I understand this is shounen and it's supposed to be action, but when the CREATOR of the series introduces the romantic element... freakin' follow up with it. I mean, even if it's Naruto being Captain Oblivious and going, "Haha, I love you, too Hinata! I love all my friends!" I'd be a LITTLE mollified. I'd prefer something a bit better... but I'd settle for that coming from Kishimoto.

Exactly! If you don't want to do anything at all with a storyline DON'T WRITE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Also, great icon.
Tuesday, August 4th, 2009 08:16 pm (UTC)
WORD! It's a lack of completion that will really bother me. Even if NaruSaku happens, which it's looking more and more likely of happening (god... trophy!Sakura ahoy), which means SasuSaku doesn't, I STILL don't think I'd be behind it just for the fact that Hinata was, once again, shoved off. I don't even care if people don't LIKE her character, the fact remains she a) made her feelings known and that needs to be addressed, and b) was the ONLY fucking person to help him out. That deserves something, at least.
Thursday, August 6th, 2009 05:33 am (UTC)
I'm ashamed to admit how much lassitude the Sasuke/Sakura cock!blocking gives Sakura/Naruto.
Thursday, August 6th, 2009 03:31 pm (UTC)
*shrugs* Well, there ARE people who genuinely support SasuSaku, and that's all fine and good. For me though, Sasuke is the same as Itachi; for whatever reason, people are NOT reading beneath the surface of their characters. They're neglecting the fact that both Uchiha CHOSE their paths. They chose to betray the people who cared about them, chose to pursue power (c'mon... Itachi's got an evolved sharingan that requires you kill your best friend to get it. And he uses it) on their own, no matter the cost.

So while I respect the fact that SasuSaku exists and was, technically, canon for the first half of the series (at least one half was canon), I'm not behind that being the final outcome. At all. I actually think it'd make me REALLY dislike Sakura's character if she accepted Sasuke and everything he'd done with an open heart and spread legs.
Monday, August 10th, 2009 07:15 am (UTC)
for whatever reason, people are NOT reading beneath the surface of their characters.

This. so much.

I wish people could realize what a bastard Sasuke is without villifying him utterly, you know?

I actually think it'd make me REALLY dislike Sakura's character if she accepted Sasuke and everything he'd done with an open heart and spread legs.

Well, I KNOW it would make me despise Kishimoto even more than I already do... and the image that goes with your phrasing is kind of awesome.
Monday, August 10th, 2009 02:08 pm (UTC)
*nods* Agreed. It's perfectly possible to acknowledge your fave character is a douche and portray him as such WITHOUT making him a bad guy. See hieronymousb's take on Nagato for that. She does a fabulous job of examining his many, many flaws while still making him a character you can sympathize with to some extent. Or, at least that's what I get out of her stuff. I know you're not very big on Nagato, so you probably have something different from it than I do.

HAHAHA!!! Why, thank you. As much as I may not like the pairing... it IS kind of fun to write. *sheepish face*
Tuesday, August 11th, 2009 05:06 am (UTC)
I admit, I did have fun while writing Itachi/Sakura.
