-I disapprove of Blair's blonde streaks. Especially since her light hair corresponds to a loss of bitch. Didn't you foolish tv writers learn anything from Angel?

-I do love the wide, green, distance shots they used for the Blair/Chuck scenes in the very first couple episodes of the season. Very fitting and very epic.

-Is the Dan/Serena ship really dead? At this point, I feel like it may just be hibernating.

-Speaking of Dan, let me tell you why I hate him (and it's not because of what you're thinking). It's because of his writing. First of all, he got into the New Yorker without even trying. Speaking as someone who is slaving over cover letters (it took me three completely different drafts before settling on one that is due today) and trying to find places to submit to and generally busting my ass, I hate you, Dan Humphrey. So fucking much. Even before it because apparent that you CAN'T WRITE ANYTHING WITHOUT RIPPING IT FROM REAL LIFE. Which was one thing when you were writing 'la la I love Serena', but do you comprehend the level of pathetic you have sunk to when you are spying on Chuck Bass and fam to get material for your stories? aka ripping off their pain to further your career? And THEN, to make matters worse, when you actually stumble onto information that legitimately needs to be revealed (SOMEBODY DIED. A PERSON DIED.) You cave like the spineless douche you are.

In short: Fuck you, Dan Humphrey. I'm not even going to mention what I think of you for writing stories that are wanted by The New Yorker (which has failed to entertain me everytime I've ever read it, and has published one of the most disturbingly pro-homophobic pieces I've ever read in a mainstream publication).

-The episode where Serena and Blair go to Yale was an ode to their OTPness. I'm really sad season two isn't about them both either at Yale or (even better) Brown.

-I loathe Serena's new boyfriend even more than Dan. And want to slap Serena for letting him pull that 'open relationships are freedom' 1970's crap on her.

-I continue to not care about what is going on with Nate. I'm sort of glad he's with Vanessa at the moment, simply because she wants him and Vanessa is pretty awesome.

-At this point, I'm actually liking where Jenny's arc ended up and her character development, although I was cringing through in it anticipation of something awful the whole time it was happening.
