Dead Men Tell Tales

I sure as hell would rent the house of my dreams if a murder took place there! Especially if it was free. And honestly, I like murder mysteries and am morbid enough that that might even be a selling point.

I'd wait to buy it until I was sure I could live peaceably with any resident ghosts, if any existed.

Seconded. If they turned out to be ghosts who didn't care for company, I'd threaten to turn it into a tourist trap. Or just outright turn it into a tourist trap. Come see the house of horrors! Chill as you hear the tragic history of this house; gape in awe as you see the blood run down the walls (collect your own sample, $10; pre-gathered vial from the gift shop, $25)

Hell yes.

I think I'd spend at least a few weeks going through panic attacks, but eventually would settle down. (Or demand an exorcism as part of my housewarming party.) But yeah, I'd totally leap for the free house, too. XD

Definitely get an exorcism prior to moving in. ^_^

You know, strangely, even though I don't believe in ghosts, I'd be a bit hesitant to live in a place where someone had been murdered. I can't say why, though.

I think a lot of people (me included, because I'd hesitate to) have the irrational idea that having violence happen in a place once makes it more likely it will there happen again.
