Alot is better than you at everything.
An in case you missed it the first time: How A Fish Almost Destroyed My Childhood, which is both painful and funny. The Year The Easter Bunny Died approaches the same level of wincing laughter.

Here is a LJ facepalm grammar story for you... I had this girl on my flist who writes fic... And she would complain sometimes about people using poor grammar/spelling, yadda yadda. She constantly spelled "a lot" as "allot." I wanted to strangle her.

I think most of my class believes I'm psychotic now. My teacher wanted to look at it and see what was funny (not in a mean way, he was really just curious) and I closed out before he could and was like, "oops."

Not to sound parental, but of all the classes to pay attention in, Writing and Editing is pretty damn high up there.
The Fish story will be just as funny after class.

The class was actually kind of bullshit, to me. I didn't learn anything I didn't already know how to do. He didn't really teach anything.
