By all rights this could easily be a sappy vid about love and longing but no. It's about how he loves the blonde chick who rescues him from ninjas and torture and doesn't even need to look behind her to epically pwn someone.

I love this video. I think it goes a step further, because while other videos have tough chicks kicking ass, they always convey the feeling that she's an anomaly and everyone she interacts with is overly impressed by her, where in this vid her badassness is very normative. Also the role reversal.

I've loved The Killers since day one, and that's mostly due to Brandon Flower's epic songwriting. I really want to hear his solo album when it comes out.
