Virgina. I loved that girl since the first voice over.

The huntsman. Part of that is I love the acter, and part is I adore the tragic backstory and villian!love between him and the evil queen.

Probably Prince Wendel. He didn't do anything for me.

Wolf. If there's anyone who dislikes him, that is.

Klaus. I think he's totally the villain of the piece, but what a villain! I love how he was originally a bad guy, kind of become friends with the heroes, really seemed to love Lucrezia, and come back to a world in ruins. I love that shoot where so see him with the baby on his back and the world in ruins, and that he was like, fuck it, if the Heterdyne boys failed, I'm going to do this right.

The cat. He's amusing, but I'm kind of done with him.

Agatha. I love her brains and her strength. One of my favorite scenes of the whole series is when she's left Castle Wulfenbach and is realizing how dangerous her life is going to be, and goes, "fine. Let's make trouble then.'

Lucrezia. She underwhelled me, and I'm really, really disappointed that we never got to see her and Klaus interact more.

Mal/Kaylee. Look, leaving aside the fact that they have a total sibling vibe (and don't get me started on River/Simon) having them together is too easy. They are so similar in their social-econamic outlook that they really don't challenge each other to grow or look at the work differently. It would just be too easy to be an enjoyable relationship to watch.

I agree with you on River. Now, granted, I'm not through the series yet (and, as one of the guys at work stated, she really comes to life in the movie, which renegadekitsune has scared me with the threat of character deaths, so now I'm worried...

People don't like Inara? FTW? How can you not like the hot, proper, well-to-do prostitute? And....and..... Mal/River??!! Even bigger FTW???!!! Maybe I just haven't gotten to the point where people start to see that pairing...maybe people are just striving for crack!pairings. But...please. Serious. Mal/River?!

Yeah, quite frankly, the movie killed the joy that makes Firefly so awesome. I'd recommend watching in like live-action fanfic - cool, but not what really happens.

Yep, people don't like Inara. Why, I can't fathom. I think she's made of win and the perfect foil for Mal - he can't intimidate her, and she challenges his perceptions, and they have mad chemistry.

But yes, a lot of people like Mal/River, I can't understand why. Twords the end (actually, at the last episode) you start to be a vibe between them that's not annoyance, but it's totally Mal with another mei-mei (little sister) not a potential lover.

Yeah, I can y x h canon shipping... Usually with good shows I'm into the canon pairing and then have one or two alt pairings that I really enjoy.

You know... *cough cough* I've had a lot of trouble finding good Firefly icons, although I could rec a could of ljs. However, if you feel in the iconing mood, I'm always here to recomend text. *hint, hint*

Part of the Mal x River thing might have stemmed from the fact that—for a good long while—people thought that Nathan Fillion and Summer Glau were actually dating. As far as I'm aware people still think that... Huh.

Joss said he got a lot of "You know, I kind of hate you now," from the fans after the movie. Heehee. Cool thing is, he's given hope for a Serenity II! He said it at Comic-Con, I think. If they do make another one, though, I hope it's set *between* Firefly and Serenity...

Apparantly there are a lot of closet Firefly fans, 'cause there's enough support that a special edition release of Serenity is coming out... I think today or tomorrow. With the sales of the box set and the new release, there might just be a big enough push that they could do another movie. No idea about the plot, though... o_O

Cho Hakkai. I can't remember not loving him, ever.

Gojyo. He was always 2 in my list of how I ranked the ikkou, but it was a second place that was a long way away from Hakkai's 1st, and then the kami-sami arc came along, and I was just gone. So now he and Hakkai are pretty constantly duking it out for that first place in my affections.

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't

Sanzo. I really like him, but he doesn't do it for me that way he does it for others. And also, Kou. My mom really likes him, and I question her taste. ^_^

Doku/Yaone is actually the pairing I see for her besides Hakkai. (If, you know, I'm got going all cracky.) I think they honestly like each other, and I love how physical they are. I usually play them as just super best friends, but I could see them together very easily, and again, with Doku's mother/sex issues.... I just wish I had the plot/plotbunnies for something nice and angsty for them.

(And you can't know how sick I am of references to Doku loving her while she's with Kou and/or all of them in a threesome. I makes me want to hit something hard.)

Oh, I can totally see Doku/Yaone, but personally, I see them more in a sibling relationship. Though with the right fic, I'm sure I wouldn't have an issue with them as a couple. And it could certainly be hot.

When my friends where talking about FMA they mentioned Riza and how awesome she was and I was like, 'I need to watch at least one series so I know what they're talking about when they start talking anime, and this one with the hot women with guns sounds good.' Yeah, Doku... I have a real soft spot for him, and I wished more people explored his character with making him gay for Kou and/or Gojyo. I'd love to write an angst Yaone/Doku fic that explores both of their issues with sex, but I don't know... I feel like I'm missing the spine to hang it on, but since I've been pondering it since you first started talking about that pairing (before I even got to the part in the manga where they're all *punch wall* *holds Doku* *ear touching*) so it better eventually coalase and let me write the fracking thing.

I really like Goku/Lirin and Goku/Pippi (her fan name.) They're just so adorable. Another pairing I really need to write more for.

Really? I think I thought Obi Wan was the bomb right from the get-go. I dunno there's something about Alex Guinness that was just mondo cool. But then, I had a bit of a thing for Gandalf back then too. Maybe it was the whole wizardy/mentor thing I loved.


Up until Jedi, I was OK with Luke/Leia then the fact that they were twins was revealed and I did a complete 360. Ack! Yesh, Han/Leia rocks.
