Versailles was lovely.

The illness that hit coming back to my apartment was less so.

Have stuffed nose, headache, and feel about as strong as a wet kitten.

Today will involve grocery shopping so I don't die of starvation, getting supplies to hopefully help kick this sickness as close to immediately as possible (i.e. not very) and then lying on my bed observing my sinus headache.

Chances I'll be even more scare for a couple days than I have been already.

*hugs* Feel better, hon. Try a nice, hot shower. The steam does wonders for plugged sinuses. :D

I've actually been taking a lot of showers lately for just that reason. Hot water, plus copious antihistomines, and I approach feeling human.

That sucks. I could always use wet, naked Gojyo to perk up my day. *now wants to write knifeplay fic*

Although, illnesses really screw the the enjoyment of things such as that. Two nights ago, I was trying to distract myself by thinking of the next sexy bit of INLYA and 30 seconds in I went, 'i feel too miserable to think about this.'

Speaking of, what's up with the HakkaixYaone AU? *has recently been listening to elaborate lives* The same thing that's going on with Q to K?

The HxY AU is kinda just there at the moment. Been working more on EL (in my head, anyway) so the AU is on the side of the road for the moment.

Well, mentally anyway. Though it's seemed to have stalled itself a little. I'm not sure if it's just been my utter exhaustion (needless to say, I'm still working out what time I need to get up to walk Tessa before I drive to work....I just realized I had 20 more minute when I was getting ready to walk out the door....then proceeded to spill cereal and milk on the couch and myself. Joy.)

But yes, anyway, back on track. I'm still just having a hell of a time getting that first chapter rewritten in my head. It's that whole - well, this is what I did. Can't rework it to work. Need to rewrite it, but all that keeps coming to mind is the same thing I already wrote. Dammit.
