So, yesterday, my film presentation went great, especially considering how little time I had to do in. Now it's on to stressing about the next paper that's due in a week. Hopefully, the internet will be up in my apartment tonight - have I mentioned that it went out yesterday? Which would be really nice. I'd love to be able to do research in bed. (Especially if 'research' is code for... okay, sorry got sidetracked).

Am between classes right now and so, so tired. All I want to do is take a nap, and the sugar from the hot chocolate I had earlier utterly failed to kick in, and there are no bakeries less than five blocks away, and this school has no vending machines.

So, the main reason I'm posting.

I have a fic flopping around in my head (totally the fault of

smillaraaqalthough all she really did was feed the spark that had been lurking for a while) and it needs some structure. So does anyone have any good prompt/challenge coms with just 4-8 prompts in a set? Like

No, no, I mean 'four to eight.' Under 10 is the main idea - I'd like something a little more managable than the two novel length fics I have in process.

There must be something going around (more mentally than anything.) I've been freaking exhausted all week. Course, it doesn't help that my routine has been thrown to hell in a handbasket between work all fuckdifed (amid going into work Monday night, store picnic yesterday, and a store meeting tonight....) plus, a change of sleep schedule so I can get up to walk the dog on mornings I have the car...yeah.

Yeah... I didn't find a short challenge comm, but I did create a Forget-Me-Not playlist with someone awesome songs, and the lyrics might be how I organize it. Also, I'm not writing it linerally, I'm doing what I usually do where I just write the bits that I know, so for the moment it's easy.

However, I came across a com called 30_lemons and I really need you to fly over here and slap me, because I was looking at the prompts and going, 'this would be fun to do for H x Y .... but I've practically already done half of them already, and i want to be poly fandomic... I know, Mal and Inara would be perfect! I need to write them and this prompts are great!' Just... sweet jesus, just kill me now.
