How is Integra so awesome?
And also, Seras, who I never loved more.
Okay, first we have her and Penwood, and chibi-Integra being just as bad ass as her elder self, then we have her ordering Walter to make it back alive, and then you have her getting out of her broken car, blood dripping down her face, cigerette in her mouth and sword in her hand, an amy of vampires ready to kill her, what does she say?
"Come on. I'll send you all to hell."
I was almost disappointed when Anderson showed up.
Except for the fact that it lead to the brillance that was the Iscariot forces totally unable to deal with her.
Integra: "If you're going to shoot me, then do it. Otherwise, get out of my way."
And then: "Anderson? Is it alright with you that they tie me up and drag me along like trash?"
Following which Anderson says "hell, no" in his priestly, psychotic way and then WALKS HER HOME.
I was literally laughing out loud. I mean, god, forget the people who ship Integra/Maxell, I want to see Intergra/Anderson. It would be so cute in such a creepy way! I mean, I can just see him hating her and having this total boyish crush simulatiously.
Do you think he'd give her dead vampires instead of flowers? And then she'd get pissed that he was hunting in her territory, and then he'd have to import vampires to kill for her, and there could be sword fights!
It would be awesome! Or it is in my head.
And then Seras gets badass. Those panels of her shooting down the nazi missels? And Pip having his little 'you dragged innocents into the war and that is just not on' speech? Made of win.
And Pip/Seras? Cute!
"To let such a sweet girl die... Befits a punishment worse than hell. Am I right, boys?"
"One hundred percent, sir." "Indeed." "Couldn't be more right."
"Let's die like mangy dogs." God, the Wild Geese are a kick.
AND THEN PIP DIED!!!!!!!!! Goddamn.
But he did at least get an awesome death scene (pay attention, JK, that is how you kill off a character, none of that wimpy draps, rocks falling, I'm not even going to give to awesome characters a death scene because I'm just that tasteless). Also, my memory may be playing tricks on me, but isn’t Pip the first time Seras had feed off a human?
Way to lose your vampiric virginity, mingonette.

And it's just in the next chapter that she butchers that ugly tattoo chick.
But what was even better than that was the three remaining Wild Geese saluting her. Awesome scene, and nice forshadowing of what Alucard does later.

You know, I used to think that Integra is a man. What a dissapointment it was when I learned the truth.

The manga is good, and has some awesome scenes and characters that aren't in the manga. However, sometimes it's very clear that prior to Hellsing the author drew porn. There are whole pages where I have no idea what's going on, and I just flip through until we get to Integra being awesome again.
Oh, no, a totally kick ass woman in anime/manga! ....you didn't expect sympathy, did you? And I have to say, if you ship them when you thought Integra was a man, you should be able to ship them when she's a chick. *nods wisely*

He used to drew porn? xD Hope it doesn't show too much in Hellsing..
But Integra looked just like a man! D: A bit feminine of course, but that's way I was so into her even before I had wathced the anime..Well but, you're right, Integra is a great character even though she turned out to be a woman (that sounded so stupid..); all the women in manga are usually always whining and screaming "help mee! I can't do anything on my own!!", so it's good do have a woman character like Integra around. :D

There are definetely times when I shows that he did porn before this. However, I just flip ahead a few pages and the weird, utterly not understandable drawings go away.
I can see why at first glance you might think she was male, especially considering how awesome she is. That's one thing I really like about Hellsing - Integra is just awesome, and totally not a sterotypical female character, and while Seras has her moments, in general she's a damn fine chick to.
