What is this? Is this an actual Saturday? Am I actually having the chance to catch up on things?
Well, if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...
I have been working a fuckton this week + time commuting which means that I am had just about zero time to do things besides work, such as internet and organizing the chaos of my desk. Today I finally got a chance to attack the paperwork, which has resulted in my entire floor being covered with bankers boxes and papers. I may need to finish it all up tomorrow.
But!
More important than foolish things like organization, I have a chance to answer emails and watch the new episode of Haven!
Which I really, really liked. To the extent that my own happiness makes me worried.
Audrey's faces! I'm kind of worried for that girl, especially because, while I don't think she's admitted this to herself yet, I think she knows that she's the original Audrey Parker. As a sidenote, goddamn I love the story she/they told about the foster dad. Oh, my heart.
Nathan was great this episode. I love his faith in Audrey and the actor does a great job of sounding choked up and yet stoic.
Duke was a hoot and a half - I loved his response to the Rev about only being on his own (though I'm actually really hoping he ends up spending a portion of this season more of an antagonist than an ally, simply because it would be great tv). I'm less than thrilled about his wife. Actually, I'm kind of gagging over it. I really enjoyed Duke's chemistry with Julia and I'm kind of sad that they're not doing more with her (which I have the suspicion that they won't) and instead are probably going to do more with Evvie.

no subject
I'm also missing Julia something fierce. I want some resolution there. If she's not going to be in the show anymore - is she? isn't she? no one seems to know! :( - how hard would it have been for them to throw in a line that she's rejoined MSF or something like that so we could at least have some closure?
Exactly! It's especially frustrating because in the last scene with her it seemed really clear she was going to be pivotal to Duke 'not dying' plans.
