Meet Melinka Fray, a slayer in the dystopic future. I love this icon because I'm a sucker for apropos text, and I love how strong she looks, ready to take on the world.



Both this and the previous icon were among the first uploaded when I originally got a paid account and extra userpics. Again, nice combination of text and words. I use this icon for my 'life sucks but I'm being strong' comments, and also comments about Riza's angst/awesomeness. Additionally, the inagural use of this icon was when I posted my first FMA fic ever, "Two Rules Of War," which I thought of when I first got spoiled for Hughes death, and still really like.



Wes and Cordelia from Angel. I have such a soft spot for Wesley that I needed to have an icon of him, even though you can't see him well. I use this icon for times when its caption is apropos. I also just love the tenderness implied. Also the scene it references is awesome. Wesley first comes into the office and touches her face, seeing how hurt she is, and it's all without music or dialouge, until Wesley goes "Bitch," (refering to the woman who hurt her) which is quite a surprising coming from him at this point in the series, and since that same person spent the previous night torturing him, it's so telling that seeing Cordelia's bruises is what makes him swear.



A total Riza/Roy shipper moment. I use this for FMA comments, especially of the Royai variety.



Winry when she's pissed. I use this when people are being moronic, or something is annoying me. It gets a lot of use on my rant posts.

This just got uploaded recently. Some friends and I have been spending rather a lot of time on Gojyo and Gojyo-related topics, and I needed some fresh blood in my Gojyo-icons. While I think Gojyo has better intentions than he'd ever admit, he's totally a wishful thinker (and again, would never admit it.)



This was made specifically for my by a friend, and I love it. The text is from a Thea Gilmore song, and while the song itself isn't very Yaone-ish (not lady-like enough) I think the quote works, especially from a Hakkai x Yaone shipper point of view - she's an echo of Kanan but also potential for happiness in the future.

i loved the Fray books and of course Royai. And yes I love that Winry icon and Gojyo is always yummy. i'll have to go look for those song lyrics

They're all really awesome songs. I hightly recommend them.

Fray... I really liked Fray. That and Girl Genius have been the American comics I've really enjoyed.

And when is Royai not awesome? Speaking of, I read your lastest, and loved it.
