I hate having a roommate.

I hate it so much.

I have spent my entire life living with other people and I am so damn tired of it. I just want my own place.

Ditto. Everything I've heard about roommates sounds like they'd actually be worse than living with my family, and this is saying something.

Well, there are a lot of variables that go into that calculation. I really enjoyed living with my mom and we had a lot of fun together (way more than I have with my roommate) but on the other hand, my roommate has no say in what I eat, how late I stay up, or anything of that sort, which isn't true with family.
