Dear Once fandom,

Less fics about Rumpelstiltskin and Belle having babies, more fics about Rumpelstiltskin and Belle having adventures in foreign locales.

Also, not everyone stalks the twitterfeeds of the cast/crew, reads all the episode descriptions a.s.a.p., and/or reads every interview available in an attempt to know what happens ahead of time. SO FUCKING SPOILER-CUT THAT SHIT.

I'm SO tired of the Twitter postings. I can't look when they post the questions they've actually asked the cast. I just cringe and want to hide.

So. Um. I may or may not be writing a professor/research assistant!AU with Belle and Rumpelstiltskin in which they kinda go on a wee quest. Annd, Regina and Emma may or may not flirt? A lot? There will probably be lots of moments in archives and libraries? Belle, Emma, Snow and Ruby may room together? And be awesome? Maybe?

Admittedly, I really love the cast on Twitter because they're terribly adorable and enthusiastic about this show but there really needs to be respect in the fandom for people who don't stay on top of those kinds of things. :/

and hell yeah they need to have adventures in foreign locales. If the series ends with everyone hanging out in the mundane world even after regaining their memories, I want to see Rumples and Belle heading off on a round-the-world tour with hiking boots and jungle guides and awesome shit.

Rumples tends to come across as a trickster more than a villain; someone you probably shouldn't make deals with, but with better results than, say, genie wishes. So I can totally see him looking at the final showdown and saying "Whatev. You guys have fun, I'm taking my girl and hitting the road." rather than taking any side.

Oh, so agreed. I think Rumpelstiltskin is very focused on himself and the (very few) people he cares about to the exclusion of the rest of the world. So, yeah, he'd say 'screw this final battle crap.' Belle, on the other hand, absolutely wouldn't.

For me the worst is when I'm reading commentary for the episode I just watched and someone drops a spoiler for the next several episodes right in the middle, like, thanks for that, I wanted to speculate based on narrative BUT NOW I KNOW AND SO CAN SAY NOTHING IN MY OWN COMMENTARY AND HAVE HAD THE SURPRISED RUINED. THANKS EVER SO.
