Ugh. I'm in one of those moods, you know? Where nothing sounds entertaining and I am disgruntled and I really should just go to bed but I'm not quite tired enough.

SO.

HERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT ARE THINGS.

There was a little bit of Regina/Emma hate on tumblr which is fucking ridiculous because 1.) Emma/Regina is an awesome pairing and 2.) There is practically more Archie/Ruby fic than there is Emma/Regina and 3.) It has the best ship name ever (Swan Queen fyi).

So, at the Game of Thrones friending meme, they were asking which House we think we'd belong to.. and I had no idea (because I haven't read the books, and thus am not familiar enough with them). So, which house of Westeros do YOU think I'd belong to, and why?




I am going to spam the hell out of this meme with Haymitch/Johanna and Haymitch/Katniss. May the odds be ever in my favor!

I have yet to actually like a Civil War song. IKR? I feel like there will be people demanding my fandom card now.

There is Regina/Emma hate? Um, true love's kiss is going to break the spell, right? ;) How is that not canon? Granted I've fallen off the wagon again but fandom, get it together.

I kind of want to go leave Johanna/Finnick and Finnick/Annie prompts but I feel like nobody will fill them 'cause this fandom mostly cares about Peeta/Katniss?

It's such a weird (and awesome) song, because the lyrics are SO bitter but the tune is SO cheerful.

I usually dislike begging people for research stuff that I'm doing for a grade, but I've been working on this for weeks and have found very little that's actually helpful. So I have to ask, do you know any good resources, academic or otherwise, on sexism with regards to female sexuality?

I've found a lot of conjecture, but very little substantive work on it. My topic is "he's a stud, she's a slut," and I have one book on that, but I also need non-Daily Show video clips. I'd go to Media Matters, but they're overrun with anti-Limbaugh stuff. Any suggestions?

You've always come across as someone who has this awesomely fierce spirit to me, so I would say you're House Martell all the way. Their words are Unbowed. Unbent. Unbroken. and they're the most lady positive of all the houses.

It's the house I picked for myself too, but for environmental reasons: it's warm where they live and I hate the cold (I would be a terrible Stark). ;)

And isn't Snow Queen the best name for a pairing ever? ESPECIALLY for Once, because 'Snow Queen' is actually a different, but quite relevant, fairy tale. Scratch that, I was confusing Swan Queen for Snow Queen.
