Reason 1,770 I Love The Avengers Fandom:

All the actors are experienced enough that epic AU gif-sets can be made. My favs: Clint/Natasha domestic AU, steampunk AU, Clint/Natasha Mr. & Mrs. Smith AU, Before I Worked With SHIELD, Victorian AU.

(And this isn't officially an AU but seriously - look at that bottom right AU and tell me Clint and Natasha didn't go undercover in a circus and that Natasha wasn't part of Clint's knife-throwing act. Someone write that, please.)

Literally, the one complaint I have about the Avengers fandom is that I feel like we keep breaking AO3 and I am thus deprived of Avengers fanfic.

I am SO DELIGHTED with those AU gif sets on Tumblr. Like, it's such a legit creative thing that I want to be all "YAY TUMBLR FANDOM, YOU GO!" There's so much to do beyond writing that it's just kind of a great, inspirational thing.
